⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Carlton Gardens in Melbourne City is an absolute gem! My recent visit to this serene oasis left me utterly enchanted. It was a warm spring morning, and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect time to explore this breathtaking green haven. From the moment I stepped foot into the gardens, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility that instantly put me at ease. The lush, manicured lawns were a vibrant shade of green, and the colorful blooms were in full bloom, painting a vivid tapestry of nature's beauty. The scent of blossoms hung in the air, creating an intoxicating ambiance that felt like a symphony for the senses. What truly struck me was the wonderful vibe that enveloped the entire place. As I strolled along the meandering pathways, I couldn't help but notice the joy radiating from fellow visitors. Families were having picnics on the soft grass, friends were laughing and chatting on benches, and couples were taking romantic strolls hand in hand. It was as if the Carlton Gardens had the power to bring people together and create unforgettable moments. The historic Royal Exhibition Building, nestled within the gardens, was a sight to behold. Its elegant architecture stood in perfect harmony with the natural beauty surrounding it. I marveled at the intricate details and couldn't resist snapping a few photos to capture the memory. The staff at the Carlton Gardens were friendly and helpful, offering information about the various points of interest within the gardens and ensuring that my visit was as enjoyable as possible. Their dedication to maintaining this urban oasis was evident in every corner of the park. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply someone looking for a peaceful escape in the heart of Melbourne, the Carlton Gardens is a must-visit destination. My warm spring morning here was nothing short of magical, and I can't wait to return to this haven of beauty and serenity. Thank you, Carlton Gardens, for providing such an extraordinary experience. If you're looking for a serene and picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, Carlton Garden is the place for you. The garden boasts an absolutely stunning view that's sure to take your breath away, and the calming atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing day out. One of my favorite things about Carlton Garden is the incredible variety of plants on display. Whether you're a seasoned botanist or simply appreciate the beauty of nature, you're sure to find something that catches your eye here. The garden is truly a treasure trove of biodiversity, featuring everything from towering trees to delicate flowers. But perhaps what I love most about Carlton Garden is how it makes me feel. Beautiful place to visit and look around. Walking around the outside near Sunset will give you some amazing photos. We went to a Diner en Blanc here a few years ago, and it was an amazing setting. From late afternoon through Sunset and then after it was dark and all the lights were on, so the Building really looks good under lights. The inside is also just as beautiful, if not more. There are paintings all over the place, the walls and also the ceiling and domes. They are all really cool and worth a good look. Also photo worthy if you are in to that sort of thing. I also had my Covid vaccine here and both times (first and second jabs) the experience was really good. We weren't standing in line for very long and were processed through the various stages of signing in and waiting for the nurse to finally administer the vaccine shots. We then waited in a second waiting area for 15 minutes so they can make sure you do not have any immediate adverse reactions to the vaccine. I would recommend you try and register to get your vaccine here if you have not had it yet. The experience for us was seamless and overall a good experience.

Absolutely stunning gardens in a really nice spot. Tranquillity amongst all the chaos of city life. I've been here a million times: you'll often find the museum or whatever it is do lots of different events, exhibition type things. Lots of stalls. The Friday past we stumbled upon some fashion thing... I don't know. I'll upload the photo. We decided to go in, lots of locally produced items. Not my cup of tea but the missus enjoyed it. Me, I like the architecture more than anything else and the surrounding gardens. Very nice. Recommend looking into whatever sort of events they're hosting and finding something that tickles your fancy and head in for a few hours. Especially over summer when the weather is nice, you can chill in the gardens... Lots of good restaurants nearby and there's a big ol hospital if you need something medically done. For me, I have regular medical appointments at St Vincents, so I often find myself heading over to the gardens and checking out the hall, seeing if anything cool is happening. Otherwise I just lay back and enjoy the sun.

I get down at the tram stop nearby and walk to my workplace via Carlton Gardens. I've walked to this place during various times in a day. It is a great place to have a little personal time in the middle of the day, to just take a break from work, have lunch, play with your kids, take your dog out for a walk, jog and exercise, or to walk and talk with your romantic partner, and for barbeques and get-togethers with friends. There are no good restaurants or coffee shops nearby so make sure to bring those if you want to spend time here. On weekends, you'll also find professional skateboarders and dancers practicing their art nearby (IMAX pavement), so you get to see wonderful performances from talented people for free! and walk back home daydreaming yourself in their shoes.
