I'm from Sydney and I'd heard a little bit about this place before I came the Melbourne. Seems like a bit of a hot spot, and I can see why.
I picked this place because the menu has fantastic options for vegan, dairy free, nut free, and gluten free. Really easy to read and make decisions without harassing the waitstaff about allegies or dietary requirements.
We chose to dine on the rooftop in the table service section. We ordered a cocktail jug to start. They accidentally gave us a single cocktail, so they let us keep that for free and then made us a jug. However, the jug ended up taking about twenty minutes to come out, so they made that free instead. Really fantastic service.
The food was pretty great. We got the Bread, Oysters, Beef Skewers, and Prawn Skewers. I wanted more bread. It's heavenly. Beef Skewers and Prawn Skewers were fantastic. Oysters with granita were a silly choice for winter.
The cocktails were amazing. We shared a Peach Fizz and Juicy Melon jug. Both were sweet and easy to drink.
Unfortunately someone threw up all over the entry to the rooftop bathrooms, so I had to go to the ground floor to use the bathroom. I didn't realise this was going to be a 20 minute round trip due to the lift being the only way upstairs, a queue of about 30 people waiting to enter, and a capacity limit of 6-7 people per trip.
The lift I got in was over capacity, so I volunteered to jump out. The staff member offered me a free drink for my troubles. Again, AMAZING service. We gave a good tip when we left. I hope they get to see it!
All in all, the place had amazing vibes, and I would...
Read moreWas given a voucher as a birthday gift as would be in Melbourne from Sydney for a couple of days so booked a table for 2 for my wife and I
After standing at the front of the restaurant for around 5 minutes waiting for someone to greet us or show us to a table we turned and spoke to the bar staff and enquired as to our booking. Eventually after a conversation between 2 staff members one shrugged and started walking into the restaurant section ( no words of greeting etc...actually just no words at all). Noting we were not following our waitress signalled for us so come in the same manner ( and expression) as a cop directing traffic at a serious car crash. Plonked us at a table and walked away. My wife and I had had barely finished laughing ( it was so bad it was actually funny) when our waitress was back over " Do you know what you want?" We asked for a little more time at which point she pointed to the specials menu " There's the specials" before turning heal and walking away much to our bemusement. The service continued in this vein, and truth be told waitress was efficient if nothing else for the rest of the meal. And the food was really good Oysters, Camembert, Rissoto all cooked to perfection and we had fun. It was just hard to shake that niggling feeling that we'd just crashed a dinner party that we were...
Read moreI recently revisited Naked for Satan after almost a decade, and it was a delightful experience that surpassed my fond memories from 2013. This time, I was accompanied by my partner, and together, we explored the level 4/sky area of the restaurant. The view from this level was absolutely stunning, adding a magical touch to our evening.
What truly made our visit memorable, however, was the outstanding service provided by Charles. From the moment we arrived, Charles went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He expertly accommodated us at a table with the best view, enhancing the ambience of our dinner.
His recommendations for our meal were spot-on, and each dish suggested by him was a culinary delight. Charles's knowledge of the menu and his keen sense of what we would enjoy was impressive. His friendly and attentive service made us feel truly special and taken care of.
Our experience at Naked for Satan, thanks to Charles, was nothing short of incredible. It's rare to find such a perfect combination of great food, stunning views, and exceptional service. We are already looking forward to our next visit, with the hope of being greeted by Charles once again. His dedication to guests’ satisfaction is commendable and makes Naked for Satan a must-visit destination...
