I approached the bar to order food; and another person then approached the bar to order a drink. Despite me approaching the bench first, the waitress pretended that she didn't see me and went to serve the other lady. I am sure that this is racism.

I looked around to realise that I was the only non-white person in the entire venue. She made it very apparent that she did not want to serve people like me; and it was very humiliating for me. I protested verbally, she obviously heard me and she continued to pretend that I didn't exist.

It would seem that if you are not a white Aussie, you will be treated as second class, or worse, humiliated publicly.

You can review your CCTV on Wednesday 24 September 2025, around 6:45pm-7pm; and you will see how I was humiliated.

I was going to order 3 starters for our table, and we were going to order 5 parmas. Due to the humiliation, I did not order the starters, and I refused to order a parma. We also did not order a second round of drinks, and we decided to go somewhere else for dessert. We occupied a table for 6 people, we would've ordered 8 dishes plus 2-3 rounds of drinks. At the end, we only ordered 4 parmas and just 1 round of drinks. You missed out on about $150-$200 of extra revenue due to your racism. I hope it...

I recently visited The Woodlands Hotel in Coburg and had a fantastic experience. The hotel offers a wonderful selection of craft beers that cater to all tastes, and the chicken Parma is truly one of the best I've ever had. Although The Post Office Hotel nearby also serves a great Parma, The Woodlands Hotel stands out with its unique atmosphere and charm.

The venue itself is a hidden gem, boasting a massive dog-friendly beer garden that's perfect for a relaxed afternoon with friends or family. The Atrium is another highlight, with its high vaulted ceiling and cozy fireplace, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal or catch a game on the big screen.

The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a special occasion, The Woodlands Hotel offers a variety of spaces to suit any need. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming...

Won't return, got seated by the waitress at the only table left. 15 minutes into our experience a reserved sign was sat on our table and told if you're not done by 7pm we will have to move you as an online booking has come in. I told the waiter too bad, we have been here before your booking and we are ready to order. When my food comes out I will not move. You taking another booking when I was already seated when you do not advertise multiple sitting times is not my issue. I ordered a medium porterhouse with mushroom sauce, Thanks for the TWO thin slices of Mushrooms. No seasoning on the chips was yet another downfall. Ordered Salted caramel cheesecake. It was slop. Not set and I think someone had too many bevvies before making it because I believe the packet of salt you added that made every mouthful a necessity to chase it with a mouthful of water was absolutely deplorable. Terrible service and...

We headed to The Woodlands Hotel in Coburg for their Sunday roast and were blown away by the quality and atmosphere. Tucked away at the back of the venue is a lovely open-air seating area — perfect for a relaxed afternoon meal with great vibes and fresh air. It’s the kind of space where you can settle in and really enjoy your food and company. The roast itself was exceptional—tender meat served with crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The combination of delicious food and the charming setting made for a memorable Sunday lunch. I highly recommend The Woodlands Hotel for anyone seeking a quality Sunday roast in Melbourne. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy a hearty meal in a lovely environment.
