Well neither the mandi was good nor the tala hua gosht. And sir me and you know what and where the naan is coming from. But it's good to bake it in oven rather than heating on pan or hot plate. Try it, it'll make a difference. The chicken you served in mandi was fried with the chicken 65 spices. Regarding tala hua gost. You've put alot chilli in it, alright, it's fine, but after seeing alot of kalwanji in it shows the chef is not having a sense or science of cooking. You know that it is hot in nature for body. So heat and hot, a complete disaster in the stomach. And also you sir, know that it's not a tala hua gosht. My humble suggestion, make a change in quality or you'll loose. Rizq is from Allah but the way you are Worthing it will show how long you are going to receive it. Unfortunately I can see that you are loosing. Well, we'll not be back again until we hear any changes or positive feedback from your customers. As usually, I guess you won't care and it's logical to understand. All the best and I pray may Allah give you success in duniya and akhirah. Note: the rating will be deleted after few days and I don't need or im not expecting anything in return. Thank...
Read moreMandi was decent, had ordered Dum Qeema which was extremely salty, had gone with group of friends. They all had same feedback which was then told to the reception guy, though he accepted our feedback, said he cannot refund money but can exchange. Sadly enough both the reception guy and owner (who was not at the shop) kept arguing that everybody eats this Qeema lol, and that we ate half of it and returned which was a lie, we ate half we’d all had a minor stroke from extremely high blood pressure😂. After much debate, and us saying if you cannot refund the money , the owner agreed replace Qeema with another Qeema (how silly is that!) , had to talk some sense into him after which he agreed to replace with another chicken mandi only!
Cant fault the reception guy / waiter as he was helpul and only was doing what he was told, but the owner lacked common sense and his customer service was piss poor, guy needs to look outside his shop and see how other shops are doing, looks like a ghost town on friday night at sydney road, if he wants his business to last longer, need to improve massively on customer service.
Wont be coming back or...
Read moreI recently visited Al Baik House of Mandi on Sydney Road, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The warm hospitality and inviting ambiance made us feel right at home.
The Mandi was absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The lamb melted in my mouth, and the chicken was juicy and packed with authentic spices. The rice was fragrant and full of flavor, making every bite a delight. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.
And just when I thought the meal couldn’t get any better, I tried their chai. It was the perfect way to end the evening—rich, aromatic, and soothing, especially after a long night. It truly felt like the cherry on top of an already amazing experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Al Baik House of Mandi is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re here for the Mandi or just want to relax with a fantastic chai, this place won’t disappoint!
I’ll definitely be back soon and recommending it to...
