OMG!! Their food is to look out for. It's a small place but comes up with big surprise. I had a meat platter sided with salad and fries. When it came to me it was huge. If you got a big appetite then this is the place. For two people it costed$ 82 with appetizer main and dessert but it was totally worth it. The size of the meal is surprise I couldn't finish my plate neither my frnd. Taste was good too could have been better but I guess I had well-done instead of medium rare that's why it got a little dry otherwise it was good enough. Staff and service was excellent. There have been times when you as a customer are not recognized by eatiries but this place the owner himself paid regards in the start of meal as well as when we left the place. 9/10 for this amazing place, will pay visit soon

Blue stool is located near the intersection of moreland rd and sydney rd I went there with my friends to have some quality food but to my shock it's very average in taste. we ordered many different items from the menu like meat and turf porterhouse steak parmigiana and lemon and herb chicken portion size of parmigiana is very small. served with chips and salad. literally chips is like 7 to 10 pieces only. parmigiana marination was very bland there was no taste of neapolitana sauce at all porterhouse steak was bland as well. at the end when we discussed how was the food to my surprise everyone said the same.. staff is not hospitable. we wanted to sit on the corner seat but we were told all the side tables are booked. while we had our food finished half of the restaurant was empty esp the side tables. staff should welcome and must love to accommodate the customers. but here NO they dont want to. ambience is good. parking is available on side streets and it's free value for money 6/10 ambience 8/10 hospitality 4/10 good quality 5/10 overall average experience. there are better places to go to

Blue stool truly have an appetising menu with so much variety & flavours. As you can see from the pic below, the servings a very generous & beautifully presented. The taste is even better with everything from the meat to the salads always so fresh & tender. My family, friends & I, have been coming to this restaurant for a little while now & it never disappoints! Great atmosphere & the service has always been outstanding. Great for families with young children too (my daughter enjoyed colouring the food poster). This is definitely one of the best Halal Restaurants in all of Melbourne. Highly recommend to all food enthusiasts or those just looking for a casual yet sophisticated dining experience.

Went here with the family last night. Words cannot describe the All Day Every Day Parma. So delicious. Crispy outside, and soft on the inside, the cheese was melted to perfection, salad was well coated in dressing (That dressing is fire!) and the chips were nice and crunchy. Would recommend the fries on one side (because they were under the chicken), and to make real chips (They bought like 10 packs of chips from Coles). Otherwise that, banger food! Bonus: Giant portions and everything's halal! They even brought my sister a colouring page with colouring markers. Even a proper place to pray! Definitely getting the chicken and mushroom next. Been hearing that the sauce is so good!

We have been visiting this place often and our experience have been pleasant mostly. Food: The menu has decent variety of items to cater different taste buds. The steaks we tried have been cooked well but we always felt it could have been better with a lil more spices. The sauces served with them are fresh and complement the steaks. Service and Ambience: Since the place is small, it's generally difficult to get hold of a table at busy hour. The rear dining area has been updated but its still not weather protected. The waiters are usually very busy every time we went there. So expect delays. Overall good dining experience which can be better with some operational changes.

Huge Portions and Delicious Grilled Food!! The Blue Spool saved our night. After a long trip and an intense training session we were running late. While many other places had their kitchen closed on a Friday night after 9pm, Blue Stool was open for business. And we had a hungry business 😄 Recommended by the friendly staff we did go with mains only. The portions are huge and delicious. I had lovely tender Beef Rips with fresh salad and crunchy chips. My partner had a nicely grilled tasty Barramundi with steamed veggies, Greek salad, and delicious tartar sauce. From the kitchen to the floor, staff are friendly and helpful. Payment was easily done via payID.
