I DOUGHNUT know how to express how much i truly loved these doughnuts! I’m usually not a doughnut person (even tho I want to be) but TODCO blew me away with their unique flavours and AMAZING DOUGH.
FOOD: I chose 6 doughnuts courtesy of TODCO’s kind invitation and I have to say, when I arrived. I was lost for words because I was so amazed by their flavours. I will be reviewing each doughnut from left to right and top to bottom of the picture! To all my vegan friends, do not fret as TODCO offers some amazing vegan flavours like their ‘VEGAN BISCOFF CREME’. I’m not vegan, personally but when I see some good vegan options, I’d never hesitate to try it! The cream for the biscoff creme wasn’t very cookie butter-y for my taste as I LOVE cookie butter overload itself so I fully suggest you nibble on the biscuit and then a bite of the doughnut and cream for a full cookie butter experience. The ‘Rose Meringue’ was really pleasant and wasn’t too overloaded with rose flavour (some desserts do it and it ends up tasting like perfume LMAO) but rather gave a hint of it and left a very pleasant flavour! The ‘Oreo Creme’ was AMAZING! They were not skimpy with their toppings and loaded it to the brim with oreos which I fully appreciate! The cream complemented the cream and oreos perfectly. ‘Galakdough’ was absolutely magnificent ! I was abit hesitant to try it as it’s something COMPLETELY different but my god, it was probably the best doughnut I’ve ever had. The custard combined with the cinammon syrup combined to give a flavour explosion that along with the soft and fluffy doughnut allowed for a doughnut experience that everyone should try! If you like cinnamon, do yourself a favour and get the Galakdough! The ‘Passion Fruit Pie’ was really special and they did not skimp on the passionfruit filling and it was bursting at the seams with cream and filling! If you like a combination of tart and sweet, this is your pick. And finally, my favourite flavour of anything, ‘Peanut Butter’. Reese fans and my fellow peanut butter lovers, we have hit jackpot. TODCO has created a cream that is so incredibly peanut buttery and together with the hard chocolate that provides an amazing texture, gives a cheat treat worth every single calorie! I would like to also give an appreciation to TODCO’s amazing dough! Their dough for the doughnut on itself is absolutely amazing, its fluffy, soft and a slight bit chewy. If you want to make your experience truly one that will leave you lost for words, MICROWAVE IT (thank me later) and of course, consume it fresh! ;)
SERVICE: When we walked into TODCO we were greeted by their pleasant staff and they were more than happy to recommend us on their doughnuts and to the lovely server who recommended me to get Galakdough, I love you FOREVER.
AMBIENCE: The ambience of TODCO’s is really special in my opinion and I think that they truly nailed aesthetics. From neon signs to pastel interiors and windows to see the beautiful doughnuts, you can tell alot of love and thought went into making this doughnut store not just a place to sell doughnuts but an experience!
Thank you so much for the invitation and amazing doughnuts and I will definitely be...
Read moreWhen people think of doughnut shops in Melbourne, The Oakleigh Doughnut Co always comes to mind. With its eye-catching mural of a doughnut on the exterior wall, and the row and row of doughnuts visible from the front window, there’s no denying that this is paradise for doughnut fans. With excellent coffee and other beverages available, there’s no excuse not to head here for a sweet pick me up any time of the day.
The doughnuts here are all made from scratch on-site and freshly made in small batches each day. Cake doughnuts, yeast doughnuts, filled doughnuts, you named it, they’ve got it. You’ll never be bored with the range of flavours here. With new flavours popping up regularly, and even non-doughnut varieties such as the choc mint brownie make an appearance. In a nod to its Greek heritage, Greek-centric flavours such as Galakdough, Halva Nice Day, Quirkish Delight will sure delight you. The Bakladough is the delicious lovechild of a baklava and a doughnut, and the decadent salted caramel and strawberry cheesecake won’t disappoint if you’re after something a bit more familiar. Vegans rejoice, as the vegan Biscoff doughnut ensures that vegans don’t miss out on the fun.
Definitely a must...

My edit after Owner's first response: Yes I support local that's why I drove all the way from the other side of town to support your business having been recommended to me by friends. It was just disappointing to get there with limiting options while there's still 5 opening hours left. Some owners appreciate knowing what happens over the weekend (when they may not be there). They can then make more products or check the quality. Other potential customers may appreciate knowing that they are unlikely to buy products later in the day as you run out due to popularity. You have an active Instagram page, so a suggestion could be to give updates on your social media. I certainly understand the effects of COVID, but I also now realize that you are not open to improving your product or open to all kinds of reviews. It is great to have been super busy and doing well this weekend, I was simply sharing my...
