What a local treasure. This cafe is fantastic. The owner and staff are amazing. Super professional, friendly and take great care of their customers, their little people as well as fur babies. Homely and welcoming vibe. The coffee is AllPress and just spectacular every single time. The barista really knows his coffee and creates magic in a cup. The owner has in-house food/meals that are fresh and delicious. The spanakopita is a total stand out and sells out fast so have to be quick. Takeaway options are so good too - even for enjoying later on. Baked goods from the incredible Cobb Lane/Matt Forbes’ bakery are also on offer and of course incredible. We have had coffee and cakes from this new Cafe on Gilbert Rd. They have been great coffees and consistently good (inconsistent coffee is my biggest frustration. Would rather a consistent 7 than a 9 one day then a 5 the next). These guys would be an 8.5 out of 10 every day. It's new (maybe 2 months) so they don't do a full kitchen service (they have pre made bacon rolls etc which look nice) but I believe they will start doing full kitchen in the new year. Great little place. Great service and people within the store. Its very inviting and highly recommended for anyone in the area. The owner is a lovely and vibrant person and is friendly. I read a previous review of someone, and dont believe a word this person had to say. Have been numerous times and found it to be a great place with a very good relaxed atmosphere.
