Labbaik — Restaurant in Melbourne

Paid a visit to Labbaik Indian Restaurant serving Hydrabadi cuisine. Google Maps has the photos of the full menu whereas the online ordering is a limited menu. Takeaway only available, I ordered the following: Tandoori chicken Malai tikka Palak paneer Lamb biriyani Biriyani haleeem Garlic naan Rice

The garlic naan is lovely and so too the loose grains of rice which is perfect with the curries. The Tandoori chicken is excellent, lovely char flavour and the dishes have a touch of chilli. The malai tikka is a lovely chicken dish marinated in spices. Excellent palak paneer, lovely spinach sauce covering chunks of the tender Indian cheese cubes. The lamb biriyani provides chunks of tender lamb in a slightly pungent biriyani rice. The biriyani haleeem is like some kind of lamb and lentil paste which is very unique and oozing flavour. There's also a curry sauce, minty chutney and raitha thrown into the mix to round out the meal. Delicious dishes.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

ordered chicken biriyani, butter chicken, rice and naan through Uber eats from this restaurant. The chicken biriyani was fine, however, the butter chicken was incredibly salty and was hard to eat. Called the restaurant to complain about it and whoever picked up the call mistook me for another customer and was so rude to me. It was only after that I told him that I ordered via uber eats that he apologised. I brushed it off and proceeded to explain what was wrong with the curry and he was in complete denial about it. He kept saying that the food wasn't salty when it clearly was and didn't offer any sort of reimbursement. We were more disappointed with the customer service than the food itself. Never gonna order or support business owners with such attitude and to whoever out there thats looking to buy from this restaurant, I'd recommend that you kindly move forward with some other ones who would actually welcome constructive criticism. Total waste of money and time. SHAME...
