Trinity St Kilda — Restaurant in Melbourne

Had visited this spot frequently for a drink in the sun with friends and work mates as it’s quite close. Security’s great, general staff are great however the manager guy with longish hair… arrogant lacks people skills. Walked my dog stopped in for a wine was quite busy outside, the only available table was up the back which was perfect but no QR code on this table so couldn’t order anything without walking to the bar which is located inside… walking my little dog over to the doorway of the building I picked him up and stood in the doorway politely requesting if I could get some table service or service from the doorway as dogs are not welcome inside (totally understand) without even letting me finish told me to get out, I made him aware of the QR code situation but insisted on delivering humiliation his “get out” NO DOGS ALLOWED got louder and louder and would not even acknowledge my order. I get people are stressed and usually I wouldn’t even go on about it but the way he made me feel in-front of all those people stayed with me for days. Not a dog friendly environment although...

Trinity is a good pub, a bit expensive but good, Their food truck Taco LA do not expect service any time quickly when they do they can deliver 4 out of 5 and never buzzed the 5th, failed to serve it, did not monitor the delivery and gave it away to someone else. They could not handle capacity and “closed” repeatedly advising they were closed then 10 seconds later “open” for orders. Incapable of offering any compensation for over a 60 minute wait for 3 tacos after delivering 4 out of 5 orders placed at the same time and then being out of stock of the original order. Taco LA would not accept any responsibility for their lack of capability to deliver food - when tried to discuss, clearly stressed could not handle any kind of customer resolution.

What really sets this pub apart, is the kids boat and cubby house in the back - it's the perfect place for families to relax and enjoy a meal together while the kids play. Speaking of food, the menu is simple but delicious - think burgers, chips, and other pub favorites.
