I’m a sucker for toasties, they're simple yet incredibly delicious, with endless possibilities. The HCST is a definite crowd pleaser, and it's easy to see why. It takes the classic ham, cheese, and tomato toastie to new heights. Their toastie sauce elevates it to another level entirely. The salami toastie is like a pizza sandwich, simply delicious. And the pesto chicken? It was perfectly balanced between chicken and pesto.

I am a sucker for toasties, it’s so simple yet so delicious and it can be done in so many ways. The HCST is a crowd favourite and I can see why. It’s like an elevated ham, cheese and tomato toastie. The toastie sauce that they’ve added made it to another level. The salami toastie tasted like an encompassed pizza sandwich which is phenomenal. The pesto chicken had the perfectly balanced chicken to pesto ratio and nothing overpowered each other which was so good!

I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area. They have a few tables where you can enjoy the sunshine with a cuppa and a toastie. And don't underestimate the portions—after sharing just one and a half toasties between two people, we were stuffed!

What we had:

3 cheese, exceptionally satisfying to eat especially in this cold weather. Loved the taste of it, it’s amazing, must try for all cheese lovers.

Pesto chicken, it was my favourite, packed with fantastic pesto flavours which had sun dried tomatoes to the brim, and was so packed with so much of chicken. Highly recommend

The double, this one is perfect for meat lovers, loaded with cheesy goodness and with ham, salami, and that kick of sriracha is so good in this one. Must try. (Personal opinion, was but salty for my taste)

Latte, was so comforting to drink - d same as the hot chocolate.

The service is very prompt and the owners are such nice, kind, welcoming and friendly folks. They use gods quality ingredients and the prices are super reasonable too.

So definitely stop here tomorrow for a delectable toastie and coffee break...

Before coming here, I thought I knew what my favorite would be, but I was mistaken. I ordered salami—perfect if you enjoy pepperoni pizza. However, my partner's choice of chicken and cheese ended up being my favorite. The bread is wonderfully buttery and toasted for that ideal crunch. The filling-to-bread ratio is generous, making each bite satisfyingly full.
