Yarra Lounge — Restaurant in Melbourne

I don't want to leave a great review because we want to always be able to get a seat when we come back, we have struggled to find a romantic/ casual place with good food, good seating and great service. For us, it was a spare of the moment decision to eat out on a Saturday night and the customer service was phenomenal... Whilst three is online ordering (which some may not like) the waiter/waitresses spoiled us and had impeccable table service and conversation. Great ambience with just the right level of music in background, we were not squished in and could enjoy our conversation. TAPAS was amazing, highly recommend the croquettes....

I do not think I have ever been so warmly recieved by the staff at any venue in Australia (where I didn't already know them). It is my first time visiting this place and I walked in alone and was made to feel very at home, straight away. The bartender had great knowledge of the different drinks and some world class recommendations. I really like this place. Talk about about making a great impression in a VERY small amount of time....

Pompous , unpleasant bar staff, and overpriced. One can of boutique beer and about 170mls of red wine in huge wine glass. $26 . Asked if we could have a cigarette with drinks outside before ordering. Yes, just go outside and up the end of street with your drinks. Did just that, then bar staff I asked when ordering came after me and my son…. No, you can’t take drinks away from premises …....
