BE WARNED Would give it a zero but I can't. Arrived there for a birthday booking that they knew nothing about was told to take a seat. Not where. So I sat out side with 1guest Waited over 30 mins for a waiter to take a drink order on a hot day altho it was so quiet inside 3 staff 2 customers inside 3 outside I know this because I had to walk in and request service my self. Was told a few moments another 25 mins later our drink order was taken. 25 mins later our 2 cocktails and 3 shots came out. I asked the waitress well while Ur here take some more drink orders and entree while Ur here so we don't have to wait.(which we still did a further 35 mins for more drinks that were not the drinks we ordered but because we were hot and thirsty we let it go. We ordered beef tacos nachos and fajitas. I love Mexican food. And I ate none . It was DISGUSTING due to the fact it was all cold the corn chips on nachos were stale on the edges and slop in the middle the soft shell beef taco I couldn't remove from the plate due to it being stuck . And the fajita we received the rice and sides on a plate then about 10 mins later the chicken and veg which was all of 4 chicken pieces (half a chicken breast) and about 1 and a half onions and maybe 2 if not 2 and a half capsicums that was cold . It was as if it was sitting there for a while. I walked in to go to the toilet and the waitress was sitting down writing in a book. I had to interrupt her to ask where the toilet was. The store wasn't busy. It was over staffed and lack of organisation or management or time management skills. To top it off . I paid $398 for 3 people to attempt to eat and first round of correct drinks. Will avoid. And tell...
Read moreOrdered food, only about half of our dishes arrived. Half of the people with us had already finished their mains and the other half were waiting patiently. None of the entrees had arrived at all.
40 minutes later we were still waiting for the remaining half of the dishes to arrive. 10 minutes before the kitchen closes we get asked if we wanted any more food as the kitchen was about to close. We notified the waitress that we hadn’t received half the food we ordered. 5 minutes later we get told there was a mix up and that our food will arrive in 5 minutes.
10 minutes later our patience was wearing thin and I went to the front to cancel the order but was told that they’ve already started making it. I don’t like food waste so decided to get the rest as take away.
Even after the mixup it took several attempts to get the order correct. By then we had to cancel a few entrees as it was getting quite late.
In the end we got one dish free (the one we didn’t want to go to waste), and 15% off the bill (which was nice and quite generous, and it is the only reason why I have given a three star rating instead of one star rating), By this point it was pretty late and half the guests appetites were ruined.
I’m not that interested in eating the re-heated takeaway food the next day and wish I had cancelled the order earlier.
Overall the food was delicious (dishes that did make it to us), but the service left a lot to be desired.
Might give the restaurant another try to see if what I experienced was a once off (of course will edit the rating if I have a better experience).
Update: Came back and the food and service...
