Yumbos — Restaurant in Melbourne

We are visiting Melbourne from NZ and happened across Yumbos by chance tonight and we are so so so glad that we did. The man working (maybe the owner?) Was super sweet and didn't mind us being there so close to closing time. He was happy and accommodating with our questions, gave us his recommendations and definitely hit the nail on the head with his suggestions . We started coming to the area for Editas Fish & Chips which are by far the best in Melbourne. I’m pleased to say they’re located next to the best thick shakes & ice cream in Melbourne too. They have customer service on lock! If I ever go into hospitality, I’m stealing Brett for myself. He’s the best I’ve ever come across. Even if you don’t like ice cream, go in just to hang. My beautiful darling and I went for a sneaky hold out at editas fish and chips ….ohh my what a feed it was, everything was so yummy We then walked pass yumbos and these beautiful apple pies banana and coconut puddings in the window only to be greeted by the amazing Brett who was just super cool and topped off our date night with so much happiness and the ice cream and sorbet was just Devine . Definitely going back to visit and hopefully try melbournes...
