If you’re thinking of ordering a blueberry matcha and expecting a delish sweet syrupy bottom then please save yourself the disappointment and don’t order one from here. This blueberry matcha is an iced matcha with a handful of whole blueberries dumped at the bottom of it. You’re given a wider/boba-type straw but it can’t even suck the blueberries up because they’re too big. And it’s not like I can pick them out and eat them after unless I cut open this thick plastic container (but who can be bothered)! I understand this is a “healthier” approach but would appreciate the transparency on the menu or your staff explaining it’s not your traditional blueberry matcha.

I have been here twice so far. Both times I received friendly and efficient service (I waited less than 10 mins for my smoothies). The first time I ordered the PB Dough smoothie, unfortunately I found it lacking in flavour and it did not at all seem worth $14. The second time I ordered the Berrymatcha smoothie, and I definitely preferred the flavour of this drink. The matcha component of the smoothie was perfect, though the berry component was a bit too tangy for my liking. I still believe the smoothies are a bit too pricey, but they are a nice treat to have every now and then.

Acai was refreshing. I loved how Zoux makes their peanut butter from scratch. However, the acai is not like the other acai places, their acai leaves me lingering sourness flavour as there is clearly some sort of blackberry or raspberry seeds blended. Granola can also be improved to be more crunchy as it is very chewy and too soft to my liking. If you are someone who likes this, then this would be a good for you to try!

So NOW on top the absolutely ATROCIOUS one-dimensional service carried-out by its ‘wannabe instagram influencer’ staff members (I use the term staff loosely as these girls try their hardest to do anything but actually work; that’s why the average wait time for a juice is 15-20min … they’re too busy gas-bagging and clucking about the holidays they’re intending on going on) we now have to pay a ‘weekend surcharge’ for the mediocre food and non-existent customer service. So because your company is losing money, closing stores (due to the awful management, inexperienced staff and lacklustre ‘service’) we now have to pay a surcharge? Seriously?!!! Well thankfully I found a way around paying the surcharge on a weekend; NEVER...
