Today a few of my friends and i decided to go get a bite from Taco Bell upon arriving we saw that it was closed and proceeded to go to Zambrero's (it was around 10-10:30). The door was closed and the girl assembling the zamberos from my friends and my own understanding gestured to go around the come into the restaurant, We entered and one of my friends needed to go to the bathroom so she went. We went up to the counter and the lovely girl assembling the burritos apologised and said that she meant theyre only taking drive in customers and she apologised for having us mistaken. We apologised to the lady and proceeded to leave but we had to wait for our friend in the bathroom. We sat for no longer than 10 seconds and a new girl came right up to us and rudely said "Im locking the back door you need to get out" we let her know that we were waiting for our friend and she looked at us, rolled her eyes and walked off. Whoever this girl was her behaviour was disgusting. I understand being tired and having long shifts but we werent rude to her nor did we do anything for her to talk to us like that. If she kindly told us she was locking the doors i wouldnt have a problem but for her to even walk off and roll her eyes is DISGUSTING. I hope she doesnt treat any other customers like that or even workers. Again the girl making the burritos was amazing and she was so sweet. She was doing an amazing job and i wish her the best in life. Wont be coming back if that girl that was rude is there. point...
Read moreTerrible customer service. Ordered two burritos through the drive through, they were incredibly spicy and couldn't be eaten. Didn't realise our orders were wrong hours later when we tried to eat them. Called back on the same day to explain the situation, girl said it was all good to get a refund my name/number will be on the board. Asked for an email from the manager so mistakes wouldn't happen when I showed up to get the refund. She said they would call back, they didn't so I rang back. She again said they don't do emails, and my name is def on the board for when I was to return to get my refund. Went into the store... low and behold, my name wasn't on the board, spoke to a guy named Declan, and he said they DO do emails and they wipe off the names off the board in 2 months. It was less than 2 months. He also tried to tell me the burritoes have a hint of spice in them, I have eaten Zambreos burritoes multiple times before and these did not just have a hint of spice in them. Read moreI've been to this zambreros many times and the food isn't that bad and 2/3 times i get served by lovely staff, however the greta area in this restaurant is filthy, the presentation is not there and I do not believe the staff are trained properly. Without fail everytime i am served, my food is made on a dirty plate, my food touches the food from the person before me, no one takes the time to clean food off the dishes, or food area and food is just thrown into the meals without any thought. I recently left my position a zambreros and my employer kept on top of everything to make sure procedures were followed to standard, this is not happening here. It is not appetising to see my food made in these conditions, I have seen cleaner mcdonalds. If this is read by the store owner you should really consider re training your staff and teaching them to keep their area clean. Cleaning the greta station takes literally less than 5 minutes. There was also a lot of cross contamination which in the food industry should be unacceptable because of risks when it comes to allergies and dietary...
