Goreng Goreng — Restaurant in Mount Lawley

We have been buying the food here for I think probably as long as this great place has been in business, only stopping over the few years that we had to move further away & it was too far for us to travel to regularly.. but am overdue in telling these guys how much we enjoy their food. And I just wanted to say that we've never had a bad meal here, (although we do only order vegetarian & chicken dishes, so cannot speak for any other dishes), but I think it's great because so many places can't even get it right the once, let alone always be so consistently yummy over many years of making food. To me, this just shows how much this restaurant & staff cares about the food it serves up to their very loyal & loving customers.

Note: Ok I really don't mean to sound ungrateful or greedy here, but my only wish is that they had a few more stores around Perth because they're such a busy little store & yes somtimes the call to order has gone unanswered for a little while... & I for one would definitely order more often when am over in another suburb, come dinner time, ie near my workplace in Shenton Park. My work collegues would be all over this place. But 100% am so happy that at least this one store exists for yummy meals for us. Came here with the extended family, and they were kind enough to fit all 10 of us snugly. Like other reviewers have mentioned, just know this is a small place. I think there would be room for about 20-25 patrons. Service was very quick, attentive and pleasant. Had the soft shell crab fried noodles and it was yummy! The noodles had the wok-hei flavour and the soft shell crab was crunchy on the outside and soft squishy on the inside. It was a mix of old and new, like a modern Asian cuisine. I had the most delightful experience at the Goreng Goren! I got the Soft-shell crab the noodles were perfectly cooked and the combination of fresh vegetables, flavorful sauces and crunchy crab created an explosion of taste in every bite. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff's friendliness made the meal even more enjoyable. I would love to see the place expand for a more comfortable dinning experience having said that, I can't wait to visit again and explore more...
