The pulled pork pizza along with the pork spring rolls and southern fried chicken wings was a delicious dinner for two. The atmosphere of the place was unpretentious and friendly and the singer/guitarist they had on the Friday night added a nice touch. Dave Webb had a bit of friendly banter with the crowd in between songs and it made for a good evening. A bit disappointed he didn't bust out the all acoustic Rammstein covers like he joked about at the start but he was on point with his song selection for the evening and the dinner crowd was obviously pleased. Extensive selection of good wines available on offer here. The food looked and taste great. It seems like quite a popular spot and it's easy to see why. There is a large covered area out the back where there are lots of high bar style tables for groups to gather round. They had live music on the Saturday when we visited and I believe they have live music every Friday and Saturday from 8pm. The music was nice and relaxed and made for a great atmosphere to eat and finish our wine. All food and drink is purchased at the bar and is delivered to your table. Started well but then the service slowed to a slow crawl. Just short of an hour for three bits of cheese and a few crackers. Spoke to the new manager and he was very apologetic. When the bits of cheese arrived we were asked 'Was it worth the wait'? It's flippin cheese ffs. No it wasn't ! It would have gone a little way if he had knocked a couple of glasses of wine off the bill. $88 got olives a garlic pizza. A bottle and 2 glasses of red. 3 bits of cheese and a mammoth wait was NOT worth it. Too short staffed , and it's Easter week end. Should have been better prepared . We were sooo looking forward to this night. Not recommended .. No thought for their customers....
