Barrels Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Murwillumbah

My Partner and I needed a new Pizza Place and i can happily say we have found our new go to!

Service was top tier. We like to think we are easy people to serve, but sitting just behind us was a group of customers that had something negative to say every few minutes. Regardless the server stayed polite, professional and helpful AF so 10/10 there.

Food was great! We had a Meatlovers like pizza and it was absolutely divine. We also got like a different kind of Pizza with potato and sausage and that was okay. For my tastes i wouldnt get it again but i still can recognise that it was well made and theres definitely a pallet out there that would love the pizza. For desert we got a Nutella Pizza and it looked, smelt and tasted amazing.

My only complaint (and it is a nitpick) would be the art on the walls. To me the art (being grafitti styled spray paint art on road signs) seemed really tacky and out of place with the other decor in the restaurant.

Needless to say i loved my experience at Barrels. Definitely...

OMG, it is the best pizza to date in Australia!!!

If you try to book online and listing says it's full, call the restaurant direct - there seems to be a glitch in the system as it was close to empty when we arrived.

But the pizzas were mind blowingly good! We had procecco from Italy very fresh and super bubbly with hints of pear, my friends had the black raspberry cocktail with chocolate which they love followed by garlic pizza smothered with parmesan for entrees. Then mushroom pizza - mozzarella, mushroom cream, seasonal mushroom, parmesan, rosemary, garlic, basil, truffle oil, carnivero pizza - smoky bbq sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon, chrizo and Supremo pizza - napoli sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, mushroom, red onion, ham, capsicum, pineapple,...

And they deserve the 5 stars & more!! We stumbled across this little gem on a night in town & were just delighted with the whole dining experience from The soft Moody atmosphere, to the young waitress who was friendly, prompt & attentive. We ordered the stuffed Mushroom & Vego Blanco-Amazing full robust flavours, soft perfect pizza base, love the chilli oil option, a Delicious wine list to choose from, & incredibly reasonable prices, then to finish the night off with a lovely lady (thinking the head chef) coming to each table asking how everything was, hope we enjoyed the food, asking where we were from etc etc!
