Cumin Kitchen — Restaurant in Murwillumbah

I've now eaten at the 3 Indian restaurants in town, this one, coriander indian and murwillambah indian kitchen. This one is my preferred and recommended. The family are so lovely and the wife is very friendly and hospitable unlike coriander restaurant where the woman was rude and indifferent. The latter of the 3 restarants has the worst indian food I've ever eaten and my experience can be read when you Google their reviews. The food here though is of a good quality and is made fresh. The only thing I will say is it is a little over priced, never before have I seen a $7 charge for saffron rice so I just order the regular. $5 for a very very small cup of chai tea that you'd finish in 3 mouthfuls? Mmmm The overall dining experience leaves you feeling good and that to me in combination with quality food is what makes me want...

We were in hospital with our sick 27 year old last night (Sunday 24th Jan) and hadn’t eaten in 24 hours due to this reason when we googled and found you guys!! Rang, ordered and picked up in record time. We had Hot Lamb Vindaloo, Medium Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan and raita with rice. My partner order “rice for two” and got two containers of rice so more rice than we know what to do with BUT sooo worth it!!! The heat was perfect in both dishes and the the food was absolutely beautiful!!! Super impressed with the quality of everything we had and the meat used. Sorry no photos. It didn’t last 5 minutes :) big thanks from us....

Terrible. Dropped in for a steak burger. I didn't even swallow the first bite. The piece of steak was this miniature cheap tenderised thing ( the kind you avoid like the plague at the supermarket ). The real turn off was the processed cheese slice that surely came out of a plastic wrapper. It didn't even bother to critique the rest of the burger really. It was accompanied by a few hot chips. The really cheap and nasty caterers type. This is the first time in my life i haven't eaten a meal I've paid for. And it wasn't cheap. Give the burgers a miss here. Hopefully the rest of their food is better, though i wouldn't...
