Sunnyside Take a break cafe, — Restaurant in Murwillumbah

We took a road trip today to check out the pies after someone recommended them and omg were we impressed.

Upon walking in we were quickly welcomed and served by a staff member, but we were overwhelmed with choice. The display windows were full with pies 🥧 from plain, chunky steak, cheese and bacon and omg let me tell you about the fattest sausage rolls I ever did see. Oh and then there is the cake display omg 😲... Way too much to choose from that's if and only if you have any room after demolishing one of their huge pies. 🤣

We ordered a chunky steak and a potato topped pie and they were amazing. Firstly they were huge, the filling was ample and the pastry was delicious.

The staff were friendly and to top it off we ordered a couple of coffees ☕️ and they were the best I've had in a long time. As any coffee snob knows its hard to get a decent coffee these days.

We highly recommend Sunnyside and we will definitely...

Good place, however I was waiting for lunch and one staff member acted very unprofessionaly and aggresively when there was an incident involving some kids, by yelling, threatening and swearing offensive remarks at two young girls who were nearby the incident and stopped to intervene, and continued to yell at them as they crossed the road to get away from the man. I'm just shocked to see someone working in a professional environment respond in such an aggressive way without accessing the situation or talking to the girls in a decent...
