Sad, My longstanding favorite spot, Broadway Pizza, has recently fallen into the hands of a dishonest perhaps new owner. The quality of their pizzas now become like Pizza Hut, but with a premium price tag, of course. What's even worse is the dishonest cashier/ phone attendant, attempting to overcharge here and there. For instance, I ordered one premium family-sized pizza at $26.9 and one regular family-sized pizza at $23.9, plus a drink. This should have totaled $50.9 plus the cost of the drink. However, when I called to place the order, the person on the phone, who sounded Indian, quoted me a total of $56.8. When I questioned the extra charge, he claimed it was for the drink. Normally, I would have taken honest people word for it, but this time round on the phone I knew i have to be careful with this guy. So I decided to double-check and questioned him. He quickly apologized, stating the correct price should have been around $4 for a 2-liter Pepsi, not $6! Upon arriving to pick up my order, I discovered they only had 1.25-liter Pepsi bottles, not the 2-liter as advertised. Despite this, the guy on the phone is the same guy at cashier and he still charged me $4 for the drink, which was supposed to be $3.80 according to their website. When I pointed this out, the cashier dismissed the online price. saying its $4. Not wanting to waste my time and effort with this guy, I skip the drink altogether. I rather spend my $4 on something even better than with this liar. You see, a dollar here and a dollar there, become many many dollar sir.... Upon reaching home and opening the pizza box, I was further disappointed to find that the Premium Siena Chicken pizza family size I ordered for $26.9 was lacking in chicken meat and the promised herbs. And look at the Margherita family size, what is that? It was a far cry from the enticing photo they had posted online. This realization, plus my early suspicion I had when I guessed the change of person in charge or maybe change of owner, confirmed my decision never to patronize Broadway Pizza again. It seems it's No more fitting to call it Broadway Pizza, call it something else please. Your response of on the wrong posted photo is just a bad excuse. You did not give what is shown on the photo. The taste is no more there. And sure of course No worries, Chelsea Pizza down the road is much better.

After last few occasions of inconsistent pizzas ( inconsistent toppings/ or lacking) and ignorance of the Indonesian? Man at the front of house who usually takes orders my review is updated. This man didn’t want to hear my feedback when I tried to explain our experiences on several recent orders- I attempted to show photos before placing our recent order so that more care is taken or bring to attention to see if maybe this was now a change or some quality issues on those occasions.. I was rudely shut down mid sentence and said just to post review online. I thought businesses preferred to hear negative feedback rather than posted online, which is what I said to him, however he continued to just say all reviews online.. based on his directions my review is amended to reflect my feedback. I’ve updated my review based on his terrible customer service and the quality of pizzas on some recent occasions (inconsistent sometimes sparse other times as expected and the usual standard for Broadway pizza type pizza and happy with order). Also, on this occasion he gave me wrong pizza, likely because he misheard (as not wanting to listening and folding boxes) what I was explaining about barely any meat on our previous pizzas and gave a meat lovers. Have been coming here for over 20 +years, really miss what this place used to be. …………………………………………………………………., I've been meaning to write a review after the last few times of ordering pizza from Broadway pizza. We used to get pizza from here for years, having taken a break recent year or so but we have returned, the pizza is really good and toppings plentiful. Definitely recommend the works pizza which we always order, family favourite. ( we add garlic, herbs, oregano and sometimes chilli flakes) The other half pizza on photo is the Spanish ( kalamata olives and anchovies). Photos of this evenings order- thanks to the guy in the black and white baseball cap - great pizza tonight. Thank you. We have tried the Tunisian chicken, Hawaiian, pear rocket pizzas all delicious. Recommend this local business. ( they also have locations in applecross and wembley).

If you like Domino’s pizza, then you would probably like this. It’s run by Uni students and made for Uni students. Not great pizza at all. Service is alright and the area is very upmarket so it’s a shame there isn’t a good Italian takeaway pizza joint around.

Been ordering Portofino pizzas from Broadway as part of my “bring in the box and get a classic pizza at half price” deal since last year and it has been fantastic.

Except tonight when I ordered my usual, the cashier repeated my order before revoking it, telling me is not a classic pizza anymore.

I was astonished and told him that I’ve ordered this before and have definitely bought it as a classic pizza. He then told me they changed the prawns and that the big prawns on portafino now make it a premium.

This is ridiculous. I am very disappointed at the service as well and his reason is nonsensical. The prawns they use for the pizzas are not divided into small or large - they are one and the same.

Extremely disappointed in the lack of reason and...
