Having ordered our lunch at the drive through today, this is where the convenience ended. After waiting 15 minutes for the first car to be cleared through the drive-thru, we proceed to the 'pay' window to find no one there or coming to take our payment so we proceed to the 'pick-up' window where we wait a further 5 minutes before 'Kayla' shows up.
'Kayla' proceeds to tell us that because we didn't pay at the pay window we needed to drive round into the drive thru again to pay at the correct window, remembering we have already waited over 20 minutes now.The question was asked why we couldn't pay at the pick up window because there was no one at the window, Kayla's reply was 'Sorry but we only have a few people today' and apparently this staff shortage becomes the customers problem.
After being left with the choices of leave or drive around again, we drove around again after being promised by Kayla we would be processed straight through, we were not. We now waited another 15 minutes for one car to clear and when we arrived at the pick up window a second time, we waited 5 minutes again to get our cold, soggy underwhelming but premium priced take away food.
Overall the most incompetent, inconsiderate and arrogant drive-thru/ take away restaurant we have ever been too and if it was possible to give 0 stars I would. The only step that was easy in this whole process was to take our money, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SPEND YOIR MONEY HERE !!! GO TO KFC NEXT DOOR.
No discount, no complimentary offers, absolutely no consideration for the wait time or cold, soggy food....
Read moreMy wife and I went with our friends for dinner last night. my wife’ and one of our friends meals were made nice per the menu first go. The other had to take her meal back as it looked like a two year old had mad it, second time it came back as it should. When I got my vegan supreme meal it was just tomato, lettuce and guacamole. It was missing rice and beans. When I took it back to ask if they could fix it they said we don’t have any rice or beans??? How is that possible I’m in a Mexican style restaurant. By the way I had been in the same restaurant two days prior and ordered the same meal. It took three goes to get what I ordered. First I got a chicken meal the second time I think the same two year old made my meal it was a mess and it was missing was guess what! Rice and beans. The third one was perfect, i even went and thanked the young laddie for making a lovely meal for me. I believe some staff are doing their best and are frustrated. Also seems to be a lot of problems with shortages of core products, I think management need to step up and take responsibility for the terrible service. Read moreI had the pleasure of grabbing lunch today from Cessnock TacoBell. I was greeted with a lovely voice over the box to order and rounded to corner to the first window, where Claire was standing waiting to review my order and for me to pay. She had a beaming smile, was extremely polite and very engaging. I asked how long they’d been open and she explained that it’s only been a week and how they’re all still learning and if I had any questions don’t hesitate to ask and they (including herself) would be happy to help! So with a smile I drove to the next window.. where a wonderful happy Grace was collecting my order. She was so lovely when I asked about the sauces and was so friendly. I felt very happy seeing smiling, polite people at a drive through window for a change. The food was delicious and the order was absolutely spot on! Well done to the team on Tuesday the 27th!
