Really disappointing experience, a few reviews point it out but the kids pasta is an insult for $12 and does not include anything else. If you’re going to charge almost half the price of a main.. at least offer half the size otherwise buy a main and split it. The ingredients across all the meals were low quality, the Bocconcini was Woolworths branded for the pizza and ‘caprese’ salad which they didn’t even bother to use ripened tomatoes. They were very slow for service, they were well staffed so no idea why it took so long, these things can happen but we had to box our mains it took so long. Didn’t offer to comp any of the meals which is a total disgrace for a menu that charges such high prices. I hate writing scathing reviews because it’s people’s livelihoods but taking advantage of paying customers is...
Read moreWe went to Bella's on a Friday night and were honestly blown away. Almost as soon as we got there a great young bloke by the name of Louis (sorry if the spelling isn't right mate) showed us to a table that was clean and ready to go. The menu and specials were explained quickly and a drinks order taken with ease. We went with a bosciola and pizza and decided to get a prawn and chorizo risotto from the specials menu... this dish was absolutely one of the tastiest dishes either of us have ever had, it was rich and creamy but beautifully balanced. The food came out hot and fresh and there were absolutely no problems for our entire meal. We decided to shout the kitchen a round of beers (an option on the menu that more establishments should promote) but there is no doubt we will be back many more times...
Read moreWe were visiting Coffs and decided to have family dinner here the first night (4 adults, three children who are three, 7 and 11). We ordered 4 pizzas, 1 pasta, 1 garlic bread, 1 kid’s meal (more on that later), 3 non-alcoholic beers, 1 alcoholic beer and 1 cocktail, which cost about $251 all up. The food was average, which was fine as we weren’t expecting anything amazing and just wanted a quick meal but what was not great was the kid’s meal - it was such a paltry serving size that it was not enough food for my 3 year-old daughter (and she is not a big eater). Personally, I think a few more pieces of penne on top of the twelve or so that were served up would not have hurt the restaurant’s bottom line. It just felt a bit miserly to serve up such a shockingly tiny amount of food for...
