Eat Sushi — Restaurant in New South Wales

Honestly best sushi place in town. I love the service, the lady’s that work the floor are always lovely and ready to help, especially this one specific girl who I believe used to have pink hair, I think it might be blue now I’m not sure, I keep forgetting to get her name but every time I go in(which is quite frequently)she is always smiling and working incredibly hard and she tries her best to please customer, she seems like a great worker to have working for you.

She is incredibly helpful and honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered here. I’ve been coming to this sushi restaurant since they opened and one of the best parts of my day is walking up seeing her smiling face and helpful service, she’s always kind and great to converse with, always brightens a bad day :)

The food is amazing and I’m always satisfied with what comes out whether it’s sushi from the train or a hot dish from the kitchen it’s my go to lunch spot and would 100% recommended for anyone, they cater to all foodie people, whether you’re vegan or a met eater or even if you kids are super fussy they have something for everyone.

Plus they are super Covid safe, with social distances, mask wearing and thoroughly cleaning tables after...

I've been a loyal customer of EatSushi in Tweed Heads for the past year, but the last few weeks have really turned me off and sadly, I won’t be returning.

The sushi train was almost completely bare, which defeats the whole purpose of going to a sushi train in the first place. When we ordered food to the table, it was underwhelming, both in presentation and taste. On top of that, the staff didn’t seem happy to be there at all. The whole place felt flat.

I really miss the old wait staff, especially the bigger guy with glasses. He was always so energetic and seemed to enjoy his job, even when they were clearly under the pump! These days, it feels understaffed, and unfortunately, that’s taken a toll on the food as well. It smells weird now. Not sure what’s changed, but the vibe is off and I really hope you take my feedback on board.

Oh, and just an FYI, the Chinese lady keeps screaming at the staff it is very unprofessional and scary.

PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER! I walked in, advised I was pregnant asking if it was ok to get fresh made sushi rather than the train.. they said of yes course, so sat down. While sitting waiting for my food, I watched a staff member making a few raw fish nigiri or similar on a brown board with gloves. I'm thinking, surely it won't be him making it or he will change to a vege board and new gloves, right? He then proceeded to get out the vegetarian food id ordered and began making my food on the SAME brown board with same gloves!? Changed nothing, washed nothing. Hell no. I got up and left, advised I won't be eating here ever again when I am seeing blatant cross contamination, not only did I advise them on entry I am pregnant ,plus ordered vegetarian food not seafood, but what about cross contamination from raw meat ? and ps seafood is a...
