I go here often and usually service is good and burgers are fine but…. There have been numerous instances where staff have been unwelcoming towards servings me particularly at night time (hours before closing). On one occasion I went in and ordered at 5:00pm and ordered my food. It was quiet and only one burger was being made at this time, which was mine, all six or seven of the staff members were standing around the station where the burger was made giggling at the burger being made for me. I know this because I watched them put the burger in the bag and call my name for the take away to then hand me the same bag. I have never had a problem with my food before so I thought nothing of it but once I took a bite from the burger they had made me. I had gotten a Caesar’s palace burger. They had put triple the amount of Parmesan cheese in it and the wrong sauce not to mention the bottom bun was soggy after opening it less than ten minutes after getting the food I would find this more acceptable if it was very busy but there was no other burgers being made and they openly gathered around and laughed at it then proceeded to hand it to me thinking that it was an acceptable product. That is what this review is about. The way the staff have treated me as a customer. No they were not openly rude but the few times that I have been here on week nights the staff have seemed to act as if every new customer is a hassle to them. This has left me with a sour taste...
Read moreSo close to a perfect night! It fell short right at the last moment as we were heading out though. I'm not sure what the issue was, but one of the service staff started acting quite unprofessionally, which completely changed the atmosphere when two other service staff indulged her in the behaviour.
You know that outdated judgmental schoolgirl reaction where you cover your mouth, turn towards your friends, say "OMG," and point out something embarrassing or shameful so all your friends can take notice and find amusement at someone else's expense? Probably don't do that at work.
Maybe someone was watching Jerry Springer reruns on their mobile device, maybe someone was deeply engaged in nose-picking (maybe 2nd knuckle deep), or maybe Jaxton had told Shontayne that he had a night class at TAFE, but here he is sitting with Reneesha. Whatever the reason, the restaurant just seemed to be filled with friends and family having a good time, while some staff member took the opportunity to rally two colleagues and find amusement at some random customer's expense. Having fun at work is fine, but it's important to keep it...
Read moreUsually i am always extremely pleased with grillds service and quality however today wasn’t good at all. Straight away when i walked in i noticed that a kitchen staff was not wearing their mask properly covering their nose. We then sat down and I ordered our burgers and waited. We waited for an hour watching at least a dozen other people get their food. At the hour mark a floorperson that i found out was their second shift asked us about our food and we informed them we had yet to receive it. They apologised and rushed off to another server who asked us if we had ordered yet(they took our order), we responded no and they went to talk to someone else before returning to “take” our order. 10 minutes passed and we recieved our food from a kitchen staff who said that the order hadnt come up in their system. I was ready to just eat the burger but it was subpar to usual and i felt sick after. The floorperson came to apologise again and i found out it was only their 2nd shift. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but i was extremely dissapointed and felt as though their messup was an annoying...
