I drink black coffee, that's it, nice and simple, I don't even use sugar in most cases as I enjoy experiencing the coffee for its taste and strength. Firstly, $4.50 for a regular black coffee seems excessive not to mention they used a plastic spoon... Furthermore, there were no glass water bottles with glasses available nor did they offer or provide one with the coffee. For this price you'd expect better service unless you have low expectations though I've found Tamworth is still learning about customer service yet they've definitely learnt how to overcharge for mediocre coffee. Good coffee here nonetheless, nice location, friendly staff but can be improved considering the cost of a black coffee that wasn't anything special.

Hugely disappointing. We were looking for a nice cafe to kick start our road trip holiday and went with this place based on ratings. We ordered eggs benny and omelette (both $18 a pop). The presentation left a lot to be desired. My husband's eggs benny looked like a measly kids meal and you can see the omelette in the photo. Annoyingly the toast was made of processed white bread which flew off the plate with one gust of wind. It tasted ok and we got to sit out in the sun but we wish we'd cooked something at the caravan park now and saved ourselves the $51.

Its a Sunday but not super busy but I had to ask where my coffee was and they gave me a small not a large, my breakfast almost arrived before the coffee. Another customer came to the counter asking after theirs also. The eggs Benedict came out with alfalfa on top which is hard to remove if you don't like it, but the worst part was the Turkish bread wasn't toasted was just damp and lukewarm. Coffee was ok and the food not too expensive ($18.50 for the Benedict) there are also some Filipino options. Probably wouldn't come here again.

Coffee. I have been to several places in town for coffee but there's nothing like stepping out of Homestead Coffee Lounge with a warm, delicious Cappacinno onto Fitzroy Street, and taking in a beaitiful feeling of warmth and comfort like Homestead implies. With what I think is a promise in their name, sipping on my warm cap made me feel at home on Fitzroy Street and in this large central business hull for such a town like Tamworth. I really do reccomend Homestead Coffee Lounge for their coffee's if you are ducking past on your way into peel street, for window shopping, or, if you are escaping the everyday scurry of the town for a nice stroll down in Bicentenial park - I think you should take your coffee with you and enjoy...

Took my partner and daughter out for brunch today! Sad to say the service and food was appalling! From what we could see had ample staff was rather quiet, no organisation at all rule of thumb bring out drinks first! Than if in a group bring meals out together! Nope! Brought one meal out first then waited 25mins for 2x coffee plus extra 10mins for kids milkshake 15 more mins for second meal and 5mins more for kids meal! To top it off they took 1 of our meals to another table took it back brought it out later stone cold no apologies when we asked what the hold up could be! Would NOT...
