Cafe Vivaldi — Restaurant in New South Wales

Second time we have tried this place in a matter of weeks (thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt).

First was during Country Music. Food was cold as, asked for it to be warmed and was met by a not good reception from the waitress (Child actually).

Thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt due to being during country music last time and they were running off their feet.

Today we had the worst experience I have ever had.

Two King breakfast's ordered, one to have eggs on a side plate. Asked for water and glasses for the table, had to ask two more times before any was brought to us. Had other drinks delivered prior to water.

Food came out very ordinarily platted up. Eggs were not on separate plate as asked. Was told that chef said can't be served that way. Meal was sent back to be replaced. Whilst waiting for the first meal with egg on side plate to be remade due to eggs were put on the toast it was noticed that no bacon was served on the other meal. Went into show waiter and to have it corrected. Whilst waiting another customer overheard me and noticed that they didn't get bacon on theirs either. Then others said the same. Bacon was placed on the plate and sent back to me (no meal replaced on correcting). When paying for the food was even charged for extra shot of coffee when the order was actually extra HOT not an extra shot.

Being a chef with over 35 years' experience, on a meal coming back into the kitchen with a mistake made by the kitchen staff a completely new meal would have been prepared and sent out so all food would be hot on arrival to table. This was not the way...

Very disappointing we ordered two meals and only one arrived. We waited for a few minutes then enquired where the second meal was and were told by the wait staff it was on its way but it still didn’t arrive. We asked again and got the same response from a different staff member but still nothing. Eventually after the first meal was almost eaten and still mine had not arrived we asked again that the staff check with the kitchen. We noticed people who arrived after we had ordered ended up ordering and getting their food and mine still had not arrived. Finally my meal arrived but was missing some of the ingredients stated on the menu which lead us to believe it had been made hastily and had indeed been missed or forgotten despite the multiple prompting from us? Staff were unprofessional and unhelpful and all I got for my money was to eat alone with only part of the advertised food delivered. Coffee was nice but buyer beware if you want to eat together even if you order at...

I wish I could give a better review for this cafe but unfortunately I can’t. Firstly, we waited a long time to have our order taken, we ordered 2 chai lattes and one eggs benny with salmon. We only received 1 chai and after what seemed like waiting forever, i had to ask for the second chai. The eggs benny finally arrived with NO salmon and only bacon. We sent it back and after another 10 mins, the plate arrived with the correct order, unfortunately, the eggs were so hard, and the hash browns were so greasy we couldn’t eat them. There was a small amount of salmon that looked like it had been thrown on the side. Not happy at all. I will say their fresh juices are really good but i guess it’s hard to get that wrong.
