Jens At East End — Restaurant in New South Wales

We've been coming here regularly for a couple of years now, but this was our last time. Food took 45 mins to be made, and when we got it, the calamari was stringy and the other food was completely tasteless and the fish was even watery. I saw a staff member walk into the shop with supermarket frozen calamari, which obviously meant they had run out. Instead of just telling us they were out, they gave us that rubbish which was absolutely disgusting. If I wanted supermarket calamari, I would have bought it myself. I'm so disappointed, as we always look forward to this when we're in Cessnock....

Extraordinary rude woman. My wife and I having never been to this part of town decided to visit the butcher and then have lunch. Whilst in the butcher this lady told us to move the car from the car park. The car park and the takeaway shop were empty. I explained to the woman our intentions to come and have lunch to which she responded “I don’t want rude customers”. Maybe she doesn’t want any customers?? Maybe she should have become a car park attendant. I removed my car for her….to a better food...

Food was nice but took a while to be served. We also parked in their car park to get takeaway and go to the butchers next door but was verbally abused by owner and told we couldn't park there if we were going to the butchers aswell even though we were getting takeaway. First and last time I'll go there. Also frequent the butchers and often have the owners come into the butchers abusing people and their own customers (often elderly) for using their carpark, they're...
