This is my 2nd review for this restaurant and all i can say is, my expectations of this restaurant has been destroyed compared to other McDonald's restaurants.
To elaborate - Out of all the stand alone McDonald's restaurants on the Central Coast, the West Gosford one has the most appalling service. Compared to a similarly populated restaurant like Wyong McDonalds, the food is not prepared as quick, as satisfactory. I cannot remember the last time I had ordered a burger such as the iconic 'Big Mac' from the West Gosford restaurant and had been satisfied with it. Time after time the burger would be all over the place, upside down, missing a key ingredient (such as lettuce). It really is a horrible feeling to spend $12.50 on a burger meal and receive it as if a toddler put it together. Some employees at the restaurant are arrogant. I have heard employees and a manager brag to others that it is the "biggest McDonalds on the Central Coast"... well it certainly isn't the best. Employees here certainly show that they do not want to work there. However, the biggest complaint I always seem to have about this restaurant is the wait times. For a fast food restaurant, I should not be waiting 10 - 15 - 20 minutes for a meal, which I have multiple time. On one specific occasion, I went up to the cash register 3 times asking where my meal was, and the employee kept saying they would get it ready and only on the last time a manger stepped in and I had my meal within 2 minutes thank you manager
Apart from this, there are some great positives to this restaurant. The biggest positive is the dinning area. It is large, comfortable, and a great place to just sit and chat, really making you feel like you aren't in a McDonalds restaurant. Along with this, Managers are extremely nice, the car park is certainly large, so you will never have to fight for a parking spot, and lastly, the restrooms are kept relatively clean.
I go to this restaurant about once or twice a week, and I will continue to go there as it is a good sit and chat spot, but I really, really do hope that by December 2019, that these issues have been resolved.

Read moreI am extremely upset and disappointed how one of your so called manager could just brush me off like it was a simple incident , on friday the 13th of September I was at the 65 Pacific Hwy, West Gosford NSW 2250, at the time at about 11.30 -12 pm we went to get our meals since we heading back to sydney, due to my job in sydeny in late afternoon , we had a quick stop to purchase , one deluxe crispy chicken burger meal medium size for my son and two double quarter pounder, one to have at the parking and one to have after we got hom.
we were asked to wait in teh car park for 20 minutes because they could handle the service. we we got home we opened the bag in in teh bag there was my son crispy check deluxe burger and the one beef burger wene we opened what we found i think it is the least to grouse if not disgusting. there was not a beed qourter pounder but a box with only two peaces of meat layers no burger paddis no sauces no slad vertuly a disgusting scenery. I called immediately to have a refund and I was confronted by a so called manager Tomas, who refused to give his surname, when i have asked to give me the refund , I was denied , and though he said that it. might have been a mistake, I paid 43 for something i could not eat and i could not get a refund because it was not either policy . he said to me that the only way would be if I was back in the store and i could get a refund, I mentioned to him that i was from sydney and I am sure he would anderstand that it was vertually impossible for me to get up there again within the next month. I said sure you could do a refund or a voucher for an other store in sydney , he completely denied . ]I will be waiting from a response team with a bit more common sense , if not I will despatch the disgusting picture...
Read moreBesides it being busy which is understandable I found this Mcdonalds to be quite good and the staff were friendly.
The only thing stopping me from giving it 4 or 5 stars is the 'Computer Order Kiosk' didn't print out a receipt for me when it said it would and I was left confused as to what to do as it said to take it to the counter. Went and seeked a Staff member but she wasn't sure what to do but she took me to the counter and they told me my order is being cooked (They did ask for my buzzer number since I selected the dine in option) Gave them it and said it was being cooked. Thanked them and went and sat back down and my meal was delivered to me 4 minuets after ordering.
Really I liked it here and it's one of the best Mcdonald's I've been to in a long time but the Order Kiosk not giving me a receipt (Which I needed) and the staff's lack of training on what to do in this kind of situation leaves me only giving this place for 3 stars.
It's not the first Mcdonald's I've been too where I haven't gotten a receipt from the order kiosk but it annoys me to no end when I don't...
