Pizza Inn Long Jetty — Restaurant in New South Wales

I don't’ normally write reviews but I felt this one was deserving. I ordered some pasta, pizza, potato bake, and the rib pack. Food arrived and noticed the rib pack was missing. Called them up and they acknowledged they forgot to send it out. Told me they will send it out straight away. All ok at this point as I understand mistakes happen. Another hour and half passes, call them up again, they tell me it will be leaving the shop soon. I then proceed to mention that you told me it was leaving an hour and a half ago so I'm really confused so I requested to cancel the rib pack and asked for a refund. They then told me I would have to request the refund myself through menu log (I checked with menu log and the restaurant can request on your behalf which is much easier as if I request the refund they will still need to check with the restaurant...makes sense). Quick summary of events: Order: 6:00 PM Arrived: 7:30PM (without ribs) Query on Order 7:35PM (will send ribs out immediately) Call to Check on Ribs: 8:50 (not left store yet) – Requested refund Dealing with Menu Log for credit 8:55PM – 9:20PM. Now I understand mistakes happen but to have two mistakes in a row on the same order and provide wrong information about my order just to get me off the phone and then to make the customer do all the legwork to get the refund back...wow! Hence why I rate this place one star. Horrible customer experience. Horrible pizza, the only thing I even liked about the place was the ribs but did not even get a chance to taste them. Pasta and potato bake were ordinary as the ingredients were all frozen and lacked any flavour. Now this is not the only time this has happened to me from this restaurant but I kept giving them one more try in hopes things would improve. Never again and I will be telling anybody who listens about...

Firstly, I'd like to begin with saying 'poor-fair' is the lowest rating option I'm offered, my rating would preferably read 'very poor'. I'm a big pizza fan and in the past have enjoyed Pizza Inn almost as much as I have Domino's or Eagle Boys. The last 3 times I've ordered however have been disgraceful. The pizza's were late, cold and even once completely squashed with no explanation offered. Also, the bread is too thick also and tastes a little stale and the meat tastes highly processed. Twice they got my order wrong, only for me to call and spoken to very rudely by the owner. DO NOT EAT HERE! There's a nice little (cheap!) gourmet place just...

The best pizza on the coast. I've recently rediscovered this place after being interstate for 10 years. I've been in several times lately and never had a bad experience. It's fresh, well made and the customer service is outstanding. I've gone in without realising it was 5 minutes before they closed and still the service was friendly as can be. I've waited outside in my car looking at my phone and the pizza was brought out and handed through my window with a smile rather than left on the bench getting cold until I remembered to collect it. I genuinely can't think of anything I could fault them on. Great local people. Great...
