Red Rooster Lavington — Restaurant in New South Wales

The nice girl with the green hair serving was terrific. We came here for the first time. I was pretty disappointed in the chicken pieces, particularly getting a chicken wing as a third piece. The young lady was nice to explain. They did two big pieces and one small so she did her job 100%. I didn't like the two larger pieces of chicken that were given to me they were called ribs and had a little meat on them. I mentioned to the staff that I really wasn't enjoying the meal, but I would leave it up to them to make a decision on what they thought they could or couldn't do. I believe that they did what they should do according to policy . I was extraordinarily nice and it was a shame to have a meal that I really didn't enjoy. If they would have said we'd like to just give you a new meal or some new chicken pieces. They would have won a customer that eats takeaway everyday as I travel and work for tourism. That is to make the value of one customer or one serving. I came here after going to a Chinese store and decided because they were going to charge me $29 for a honey chicken meal i would come here. Absolutely disgusting experience. The young female behind the counter was in the middle.of an argument with her, what seemed like, partner then had to interrupt them to get service only to have to repeat my phone number 5 times as she said their Red Rewards scanner wasn't working. To then only be told that I was "offline", then I suggested to her once more that we try and scan the card on my app to which it worked the first time. I then asked which Burgers were nice to which she replied with just listing them all out and offering no suggestions. She then became distracted again after 1 more customer started lining up. To which a younger colleague suggested that she take over and finish the sale. The upside "triple" reds Burger was a pathetic squashed mess that barely had three pieces of batter on there the size of 20 cent pieces. The chips were cold and only 3/4 filled. The one element they did get right was the 600ml Vanilla Coke.

Overall an incredibly disgusting and underwhelming experience. Management...you need to look at who represents your business as the first female does an extremely poor job and appeared to want to be anywhere else but there.

Have only used the drive through not the dine in so can’t comment on the restaurant seating etc. but the drive through is good. Usually reasonably quick. I like their chips as I enjoy softer soggier chips and they are great on that scale. It is the only place you can get a garlic bread in these kind of take aways and they are soft and delicious!!!! Pricing is pretty reasonable for chicken and chips. The fried chicken is really good and I prefer it over the ready chicken here - even though it is pretty ok.
