Mori the owner was so friendly and accommodating, offered a free room upgrade to the upstairs family suites, 11am late check out and made sure the sauna pool and spa were clean and ready for our arrival. Grounds and gardens very well maintained and lovely to relax in. He’s in the middle of renovating so the amazing value of staying here will be even better once he’s finished. He’s done many upgrades already - USB PowerPoint besides the bed, new bar fridges, Smart TVs, new linen and fresh paint throughout. So cheap for what you get - it was VERY clean, spacious and the pool, spa and sauna were the reason we chose his over others more expensive in the area. Make sure you have dinner at local Springdale Heights Tavern - the meals are amazing and well priced. Great coffee (for coffee snobs like us!) at nearby “Brothers Cup” coffee roasters. The older, mixed reviews of this motel aren’t relevant anymore, trust me. Really pleasant stay at a family run motel not far off the highway. Loved it! The few minor things that needed attention I popped on a feedback form, like a super bright buzzing light in the bathroom, and the spa having too much...
Read moreI was very disappointed with my stay here, I paid extra to stay at a hotel that had a spa and sauna. I wouldn't waste my money at this place, the only clean thing about this hotel was the garden, the spa took me over an hour to heat up, I had to set an alarm every 10 min so I could go and turn it on again for it to heat up as the water was under 20°, I asked two staff about heating it and was left to do it myself, as I said it took over an hour and 6 or more trips to heat it enough to use it. The entire area was dirty with my own personal towel ending up brown from the sauna as I don't think they ever clean in the area apart from run a mop over the floor. There was a cigarette but and bits of wool on the floor in the spa area and a bottle cap on the floor in the sauna, I was the only one to use the area while I was there and all the rubbish on the for was there for more than 2 days. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, there are plenty of hotels in Albury/Wodonga, do yourself a favour and stay at...
Read moreThe good: The room was neat and clean as per website photos. The bed was really comfortable and there was no traffic noise from the road. The price was reasonable for our stay.||||The bad: The pool area is in the back of the motel so you drive into an ugly car park and wonder if you have the right motel. The bathroom had a very mouldy ceiling over the shower and the toilet cistern kept running all night. The room smelt very strongly of bleach and this smell did not disappear during our stay. We had to keep the bathroom door closed due to the bleach odour. One of the bath towels provided had a 50cm hole in it! There were no instructions for the tv, air conditioner or wifi password in the room which was a little inconvenient. ||||Obviously, more attention needs to be taken with maintenance of bathroom and information provided to customers could be better. ||||Overall, I don't think we would stay again due to the...
