Safari Club Bar & Grill — Restaurant in New South Wales

Last night was our first time dining in at Safari Club Bar and Grill. From the moment we walked in the door, to the end of the evening we were well taken care of. I'm talking the whole experience, because that's what you want isn't it?

The wait staff were friendly, helpful and there when needed - like helping me with the menu or popping a fresh straw in my drink just at the right time. Oh, that ordering system is fantastic. If you want to order a drink or dessert (I'll tell you about dessert at the end) - simply select it, hit order, and just like that- your drink or dessert is brought to you. The menu has everything you would expect from a bar and grill - steaks, ribs, seafood, chicken, salads, seasonal veggies, and sides.

For main course we can only attest to the pork ribs because that's what we both ordered, and they are melt-in--the-mouth ribs finished in a delicious basting sauce, served with a good side of onion rings. Hubby said his chunky fries were good too. I think I was suppose to leave room in my bellie for the fresh salad...

While your digesting all that deliciousness, the dining tables are well-spaced, it's a relaxed evening and the art on the walls add to a great atmosphere.

The dessert menu is a small selection, and I expect that's because most people are too full from the generous serving of mains. Thankfully, I left a little room! So, if you want a decadent, dreamy dessert you have to try the Dom Pedro - it's a cocktail and dessert in one. Truly divine.

I cannot say how much I enjoy the meals served in this restaurant. It is excellent, exceptional, and fresh. If you are not hungry don't go there because the food is always generously served. I always always take food home with me. Everything on the menu is a yes yes, the meat platter can satisfy 5 people normally, but of course you don't want to limit yourself to just that. Try all the meals on their menu, do yourself that favour. I cannot say enough how respectful the team is, very patient even around little kids, the staff have a way of turning Everything into a fun game. The staff very professional team, the place is clean, this place is very modern and posh, perfect for a date, birthdays, all occasions. I wish they would open for lunch too but hey these humans have real lives and deserve time to do other things. My most recent visit blew my mind. It was my birthday and I didn't really have much people to invite, I mentioned it casually to one staff, only one staff, and all of them ended up gathering around me, sang me a hearty birthday song, sparkles everywhere, candles and decorated my cake so beautifully and unexpectedly ✨️ .very clever. We had a lovely experience at this restaurant! After a pretty tiring and tough day we decided to venture out, with 3 kids in tow, for a dinner out. And thank goodness we did! It turned our day around and finished on a high! Service was wonderful from the moment we stepped in the door! The ordering system was simple and efficient. Kids meals were great value and size. Good was absolutely delicious - and while I am sure like all ethnic food tends to be in Aus they have had to tone down and westernise the menu, what we had was wonderful and made us eager to branch out to more African influences and flavours. The meals are HUGE - I can't see how you could leave hungry! Meat was tender - the lamb riblets melted in your mouth! Yes, the prices are not on the lower scale but frankly for the size of the meal they aren't charging much more for a steak than the average bistro in a club these days so I don't think it's unreasonable.
