Very disappointed, my daughter had the fish and chips which was half a fish oven baked and chips which was way to much for lunch and didn't look very appetising on the plate then my daughter took a bit and found a bone, when I took it back there was no apology the waitress was more interested in finding the bone and saying that was very unusual I felt like she didn't believe me but she did refund the money for it and I ordered her some chips which weren't really any better. Then there is my dish which was The Ultimate Green Bowl which was on a plate the description said Quinoa, Broccolini, carrots, kale, zucchini, avocado, currents and mixed greens with a lemon dressing, so there was no quinoa or mixed greens I couldn't taste the lemon and it was very oily all I ate was the broccolini, avocado and the haloumi I had added to it. I was asked at the end if we enjoyed our meal and I explained to them no we didn't and the reason why and I again felt that she also didn't believe me and that I was just a whinging customer and was telling me she would talk to the kitchen about it was just to keep me happy which I wasn't and will never ever go back there again and I will also be letting everyone I know not to go there too. I understand that things can go wrong and places that do good food can have off days but the big test is how the staff handle it to keep the customer happy and assure them that this is a one off and do there best to rectify the problem, I felt the staff of Sage Cafe didn't not do that, in actual fact they did the exact opposite and made me feel like I was just a...

Myself and my partner went in this morning to have breakfast as it’s been awhile going there. It’s our favourite cafe when sit and chat closed down. We did the self serve at the table. Everything was great till we got our food. At first I wanted to give it back and say something but i was really hungry and we just had to put more salt and pepper then usual. In the photos you can see the mushrooms are very burnt, bacon is very over cooked and very hard my partner has false teeth so he wasn’t able to eat all of that as it will hurt his gums. My partner also order a cappuccino and it was burnt. It’s very upsetting that our local cafe couldn’t deliver like they usually do. It blows my mind that they think that was a good idea to bring out to the customer to begin with. I understand most people like to eat burnt mushrooms and over cooked bacon but not everyone is like that and if that’s what I wanted I would have made a note of that in my order. I don’t think we will be back there again. Other than the food everything was great. The atmosphere is good and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I just think you might need to chat...

This place is amazing can not praise them enough the staff were so beautiful and so helpful as my mum has a food allergy to salt she can’t eat much salt before falling very ill and they were so so helpful with making sure there was no salt added with out any questions asked they double checked the fish and the chips to make sure the chef did an amazing job cooking the fish mum had without salt of course and were so happy to help us in every way possible! The chef had a chat with us to make sure it was what we were after and was so helpful . I had the banana bread toaster and it was so yum too

Highly recommended this place as they go above and beyond with their customer service and the food was perfect ( my mum is also a chef and knows when she when it’s cooked to perfection and the fish definitely was . such a great location and very clean environment.

Thank you so so much for accepting mums allergy of very minimal salt and doing all you can to give her a perfect meal that was not going to make her violently ill ( as most...

Sage Cafe is conventionally located at the top of the escalators at the Hoyts end of Erina Fair. Overall, presentation, service and food are top quality for the higher prices (average meal starts at $22), and the view not bad either from a window seat - the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of table service for ordering. -- corrected: thanks for the reply Sage, don't mind QR code system (the growing norm these days), still love the personal touch of table service but not docking a star in this case. Cheers! We had; Eggs Benedict - well presented, delicious with perfectly crisped bacon, the Sage Brekkie Burger which also was a delicious combination of fresh fluffy bun, and a notably lovely, balanced cheese melt and crispy bacon flavour. The Child's brekkie was also good value. Definitely a great treat if budget allows!

I only reason I am give 1star is because there’s no option for 0. I went yesterday for lunch with my partner and we ordered grilled barramundi with some chips and salad and pancakes. Pancakes was okay but fish was so cold. And we also ordered coffee after lunch it’s was worse, I ordered almond flat white and my partner normal flat white, they give us both coffee in normal milk, they this we are stupid or what??? It was very bad and unprofessional.
