Thai Thyme Erina Fair Restaurant — Restaurant in New South Wales

I am not a great fan of shopping centre food courts, however sometimes that is the best option.

On a recent visit to Erina Fair (SO BIG - EASY TO GET LOST) my wife and I needed a quick bite heading back home a couple of hundred kilometres away.

I walked around the perimeter of the circular hall trying to judge what may be the best choice. There are quite a few asian style outlets however I noticed how fresh the vege ingredients appeared in their serving area. My tried a pad thai and I went for a stir fry. The food was produced quickly announced by the buzzer they provided.

The dishes were a little bland, however the ingredients certainly tasted very fresh and the servings were generous.

Not my idea of great culinary day out, nonetheless the dishes were sustaining and acceptable. Certainly the best choice in the food hall. The atmosphere is never good in food halls. This one is comfortable but suffers from the usual problem of being very noisy. I can’t blame Thai...

One of those places you see/walk past 1000 times at the shops but have never gone in. Decided to have dinner there before a movie and was impressed by the meal and service. The pineapple fried rice was amazing and super interestingly presented inside a pineapple. Marinated bbq lamb was tasty albeit a bit too much garlic and the entrees were a good size and worth their price. Atmosphere was calm and a great sunset view. Brought a laksa, more of a curry soup with minimal taste, really disappointing. Brought money bags, filling was a mush of goodness knows what. Overall food was below restaurant standards and i would never go again. My friends food was equally bad. When we tried to give feedback at the counter but the staff responded that she loved the food, so did the clients so anyway just pay the bill. Do yourself a favour and...
