I have never been treated so appallingly as I was on 4/2/17. I went into the shop for an ice cream but thought my husband would also like a coffee so I ordered coffee first so that ice cream would not melt waiting for coffee but she asked for ice cream flavours first so she made 2 double scoop ice creams. Then she went to coffe machine. So while waiting for coffee I went outside shop to look at a dog and chat to owners I came back into the shop and asked where the coffee was she said that she had to do these orders first I said I was concerned about ice cream melting she ignored me (she was making 2 wraps which were ordered after mine) I waited and could see that they were seriously melting as it was a hot day. I then said I'm going to have to go and come back for coffee and she said ok. As I was walking to the car which was some distance away as there were no parks left, ice cream was going every where as I arrived near my car one icecream just completely fell apart onto ground and I gave the other to my husband and it was everywhere. I was upset as I had had spent $15 on the 2 ice creams and was looking forward to it as it was a special treat. He went back for the coffee and asked her to replace one ice cream which she refused to do saying it was my fault I had gone outside to look at the dog. Well I will never go there again and will tell family that live in Kiama about my...

Came here for ice cream with my wife, kids and extended family. Ordered 8 ice creams, 7 were lovely. One of them (my wife's) tasted like it was off. We all tasted it and agreed. I told my wife to take it back and ask to swap it. She went in to the shop which was full of customers and waited in line to tell the guy working there, an older Asian dude. She told him politely that the ice cream tasted off, he took it and threw it at his sink and reluctantly gave my wife another ice cream of another flavour. As he handed it to her he's giving her a death stare and as she walks away continued to death stare. My wife asked if he was ok and he began shouting at her. She left and came out really upset. We left straight away. Shocking customer service from what looked like the owner of the shop. I hope he reads this review and changes his attitude towards his customers. Whether he believed he was in the right or wrong, his behaviour was appalling and intimidating a woman in his shop in front of other customers is completely unacceptable. Won't...

I was going to visit this place tomorrow with the kids, but thought I would read the reviews first (as I normally do when I'm trying out somewhere for the first time). Well... I won’t be visiting now. Whoever is replying to your less favourable feedback needs to be given the boot and a basic lesson on customer service and PR. Telling customers who were not satisfied with their experience, they have the wrong ice cream shop or it ‘must be one of the other ones in the street’, is a disgusting attitude and not in the spirit of a small community focused town. TBH, I’ll never step foot in your business and I’ll be showing a lot of people in town how disgusting some of your replies are. What is your motive to bad mouth other small businesses? Are you seriosuly trying to bring down or destroy other businessss in the street, just so you can deflect responsibility? That really is the lowest of the low and speaks volume about the person who is responding. You guys must have a great relationship with your neighbours and...

First visit: Lovely owner who served us so thoughtfully and wholesomely. There’s options for many dietary requirements, including dairy free / lactose free / vegan etc So happy with my pistachio and boysenberry gelato, and the lactose free chocolate milkshake was unbelievable! 2nd visit: The pork spring rolls are clearly homemade - crispy pastry bursting with filling, and homely spring rolls with the pork mince flavour emulating that of a Vietnamese bánh bao (pork steamed bun). The veg spring rolls have a net type pastry exterior which I love because I like buying those ones back in Sydney! The deluxe pork bánh mì is super satisfying! The only downside is the bread isn’t the crispiest, which I’m not fussed by, given if you’re in metro Sydney, you’d have much more easy access to freshly baked Viet bread due to a higher turnover. The filling of roast pork with some extra crackling, and the signature shallot oil, makes it a great bánh mì to enjoy here in Kiama!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! These are the best thick shakes we have ever had! The raspberry is my favourite (recommended by the owner and thick shakes queen back in Jan 2020). It was the first one I had after almost a year since visiting Kiama. We are making our way through the menu and have had the chocolate (compulsory), butter scotch, caramel (also excellent), and lime (this is my second favourite for those who know about lime milkshakes will understand - this one is the best of lime thick shakes I've had 🤤). I will add this this list with my plan to try the mango flavour soon. The current staff took over management 18 months ago and are a match made in heaven.

We challenged them to make a hot hot chocolate.. they made the hottest one we have ever made.. then challenged them to make a real thick thickshake they rose to the challenge.. well done. We will be back and we are back... still impressed. Covid safe as well.. back again after a month.. looks like they taught the young staff how to make the thickshakes the way I like them.. maybee even better than the boss lady.. nice and thick. Here again .. 13th may 2021 .. got something different this time.. hyper hyper iced chocolate .. WOW. And the wife got waffles.. made with real ice cream..
