Very good!

On our last day of being on the central Coast my partner and I decided to get some (a lot) of food delivered instead of going out for dinner.

Wow! I was very surprised, especially for a menulog delivery.

We ordered -

Combination omelette - Was very nice. Egg was fluffy, it contained a lot of meats, it truly is combination! 4 King prawns, Beef, Chicken, (maybe squid???), BBQ pork, and seafood highlighter. Was very well cooked, and I would 100% order again.

Special fried rice - This was the only thing not very good. The flavour was lacking, like perhaps it wasn’t seasoned? Maybe no oyster sauce in it? The ingredients were however fresh, and the meat in it was all cooked well, and the rice was just as you want it in a fried rice, just a pitty the flavour was very lacking. I would give this a miss next time.

Honey Chicken - VERY GOOD! Honey Flavour was very good. Chicken cooked perfect. Right amount of “crunch”?? To it, not soggy in any way. Fantastic! Would order again.

Satay Chicken - I loved it, my partner didn’t. He said it was too spicy, but I didn’t find it so. It’s also traditionally a little spicy, so I’m glad they kept this aspect of their dish. Very nice, even better as next day left overs. Would order again.

Spring rolls - Partner said they were fantastic. Cooked very well. Would order again

Curry puffs - My partner said these were the best he’s ever had. The curry flavour was delicious, the potato inside very fluffy, and the pastry was fantastic. Definitely the talk of our dinner.

I have always enjoyed my meals from here, until recently. I am not sure if you have changed hands, or new owners, but the last meal I bought was awful. I called in on a Friday night on my way home, grabbed a Satay Chicken and a Special Fried Rice. Unfortunately I have to say, the rice was dry and had no flavour. The Satay had very little chicken, more vegetables than meat, the flavour has changed and doesn't taste the same. The other issue is the containers used to be full, the two dishes I bought weren't anywhere near full. I was extremely disappointed, as the food has always been amazing, I have never had a problem before, and thought it was a good value meal. Can you please advise what has changed? Ordered takeaway. Was told that it would be 15-20 minutes. That's ok. Ducked out for 5 minutes came back and waited for another 30 minutes for food when I was basically the only one in the store they said what was your name.
