Absolutely horrible! By the end of the night, 1 of 2 of the employees got into a loud confrontation with the manager/owner (I assume) about how she was only rostered on til 9 yet he wanted her to stay back but she had to go because of family commitments and he wouldn't let her go. After a few minutes of yelling which all customers could hear, she stormed out. A few minutes later the other emoplyee was just as upset about the fact she wasn't allowed to leave even though her shift was over, and the other one got to leave just because she "had a fit". This employee ended up in tears but continued to keep working. Once we left ( we were the last ones to leave) you could see through the window that the manger/owner was angry at the employee and started yelling at her which obviously caused her to cry again. Both employees were quiet young, and such mistreatment of the them wasn't just awkward and uncomfortable for us as customer but also unfair and uncalled for. This dissatisfaction with their job was clearly also reflected in the half -heart customer service provided by the employees throughout the night which obviously resulted in our night being ruined. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT...
Read moreAfter a long drive to Ettalong Bay and very hungry, we we were happy to see the menu card of this place at the hotel. Ordered some authentic dishes as take away. The food was so poor in quality and we couldn’t actually eat any of the food. Full tandoori chicken we ordered went straight to the bin.even kids didn’t eat the food. When we raised our concerns, the man over phone said we make food for Australians here and they like it this way. Just want to say that this place may be cheating the people by serving such sub standard food all along and may be getting away easily. Please guys . Don’t try here. You are wasting your money. Very arrogant staff. They even over charged us by adding one more dish which we actually cancelled while ordering. Our entire night was spoiled becoz of this so called COPPPER POT. Stay...
Read moreWe have been away from home often lately and enjoy eating out when we are, but when we return we make a beeline to the Copperpot in Umina Beach, on the Central Coast of NSW. This is our favourite restaurant in our area because the menu, which is Indian, caters for a wide range of tastes, and every one of the dishes is outstanding. We are continually surprised that a restaurant which can please the palate so well can be so moderate in cost. To our advantage anyway. Tonight I had Bombay Beef and my wife had Lamb Do Pyaza. They were compatible and easy to share and provided taste sensations every bit as good as we expected. Accompanied by Cheese Naan and Jasmine Rice they made a wonderful meal. BYO is a plus and helps the pocket. Thoroughly recommended.
