Silver Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Umina Beach

Tried this restaurant for the first time today.......NEVER EVER AGAIN!

I am totally disappointed in the food. I ordered Spring Rolls, Short Soup, Mongolian Lamb, Beef in Black Bean Singapore Noodles and Special Fried Rice. Not one dish was acceptable, springs rolls were oily and overcooked and had a strange taste. Short Soup was passable but somehow super sweet and out of all the dishes was the only one that was eaten, everything else was thrown away. The Beef in Black bean was watery, had no depth of colour usually attributed to this dish due to lack of bean. The meat couldn't be picked up with chopsticks as it literally fell apart like it had been boiled for hours. The Mongolian Lamb was again watery and lacked depth of flavour and also the meat fell apart when trying to eat it. The Singaporean Noodles were hit and miss, some noodles tasted like water and some were over flavoured, like the dish hadn't been stir-fried properly. Finally the Special Fried Rice was horrendous!

Went on monday for my brothers bday. Came home i was so itchy. Not like a bug bite not a mozzy bite i was on fire, went to the hospital all night and morning to find that i was allergic to something. I NEVER EVER get allergic reaction this was my first time. First time going to that place aswell. The raymond guy was nice. The place needs to be checked. Or renovated up. Its soo dark and gloomy. The ladies toilets needs to be cleaned or changed its like walking in a dungeon. And worset thing having to sit on the toilet and have a light right above you and a window behind you with men chatting at the back. Its disgusting and humiliating not sure whether they are talking about you or not. Never going back there again. I'll stick with woy woy Chinese restraunt next door to Dominos pizza. Mothers day 2019, arrived at 6.15pm, the restaurant was half full. What I failed to notice was that not a single person had food in front of them. The table next to me waited 1 hour for the first dish to arrive. Sat there 1.5h with no food on our table, watching 12 bags of take away be rushed past us whilst the dine in guests got nothing. It seems to me they prefer to service their takeaway customers instead of maintain a balance and ensure their dine in customers get fed. Finally got our meals, I found a piece of plastic in mine and the smell of butane on the chicken was the straw that broke the camel's back. Oh and the bottle of house red i was poured a glass from must have been opened in 1982, so avoid that like the plague. Don't waste your money,...
