ZIVA - Eats & Pizza — Restaurant in New South Wales

Came for a meal with my family for lunch and it was disgusted over priced for food and drinks as a non member. My mum ordered the bbq chicken wings , specifically asked for the bbq sauce no chilli and assured it it was not hot. After taking two mouth fulls her mouth was burning and couldn’t eat anymore. We asked for chicken wings but got chicken drumsticks instead. The waitress came over and she checked with the kitchen and the sauce contained sriractha which was responsible of the burning. It would of been nice if it was explained properly that it had no chilli itself, my mum felt very Sick and very disappointed. Being a chef myself I assure you that I would tell a customer of all the ingredients that are in it. If someone was allergic etc. never coming back again. I tell you if it was bbq it be brown not red like chilli....

Went to Ziva last night. All 3 of us had the Thursday night on the menu special so you would think it would come out quickly after the cheese and bacon bread. No no it didn't,40mins after the bread which was tasty and hot our main came out COLD. It was the paella, clumps of cold cooked SUPER SPICY rice and dead COLD prawns,chicken, shells that could have contained a muscle once and salmon. The only heat coming out of our "Specials" meal was the spice and that left a lasting impression. Very disappointed with the meal. The size of the meal was a little on the small size too. We could see the chefs not cooking but watching people which was weird. The place wasn't full but it was super loud, so hard to talk/listen to our conversation. Went to Toukley RSL tonight and ordered at Ziva eats. We were told it was an hour wait which we were fine with as it was busy. A bit over an hour had passed and we went and enquired. They checked our buzzer and said it wasn't ready yet.

We went back after a little bit and were told it still was not ready.

Finally after 1 hour 40 minutes we went to check and were told that they had forgotten/ missed out order.

So not only had they not bothered to actually check the buzzer the two previous times we enquired about our order, but they had totally forgotten about it. It was being cooked not had it even been prepared.

Not only did we have to ask for a refund, but they don't even think to consider that we now had 4 hungry children with no food coming for the kitchen.

Absolutely terrible...
