I was looking for somewhere to sit down and have breakfast and I come across cup N Crepes I went in and thought it was only a little shop and then I found out the adventure to the shop. Next door and behind it was very well set out and had plenty of seating. It was like walking into a little store and finding out that it’s very large the atmosphere was great and I got to meet a couple of the staff. They were very nice and I ordered a big breakfast which was really nice. I got a chocolate thick shake and a very tasty. If you’re coming past I’d recommend coming in having a coffee or a drink or just relaxing and have a look around. It’s much bigger than what you think. It’s so nice and clean and tidy and I would like to think the stuff again for looking after me so well I met the owner and his name is Michael. I had a talk to him and he’s been here for about eight years. He started off with 20 seats and has built it up. He’s really nice and if you get to meet him, he’s always got a smile on his face. I really enjoyed my breakfast and the milkshake was so good. Dropping in and enjoy.

Came for sweets, got an intimate knowledge of minutes going by. On a Saturday after lunch, we ordered a crepe, a milkshake and asked for water for two. Milkshake and crepes came so far apart that no matter how tasty either might have been, the dining experience was not a memorable. It took 30 minutes for a milkshake to arrive with another 30 minutes of gazing at a milkshake before the crepe arrived. The milkshake was finished at this point. Also, the water also just arrived after asking for the 2nd time. Cleanliness was subpar. There was a pile of dirty dishes next to the main counter reminiscent of an unkempt frathouse. In addition to that, our table had watermarks still wet from the previous diner(s). Decor and overall ambience was bland and made the experience worse. Our experience was not isolated as we watched another table finish all their drinks much before any food arrived.

Menu expensive. Majority of options close to $30 a meal. Other than a kids milkshake, no kids menu. Lots of young waitress staff that were friendly, apologising profusely when one of them spilt a hot mug of coffee all over the table and my clothes. Paid on ordering so when no mangement appeared to apologise or attempt to compensate my clothes now being trashed and my white sneakers needing washing. My husband went to see older woman who we assumed is mangement. Stated unaware of same? I’d be questioning why you don’t know. We were met with you’re not getting a refund, here’s $5 towards coffee. Eventually shows face to table to expect my clothes and the mess that’s already cleaned up. Met with sorry but “she must be nervous”. You earn a killing and trash my clothes and all you can say as a business is sorry heres $5. Thanks I won’t be back.

The review below the line _ is over a year old now.

The wait staff are lovely young people who deserve a lot better from the person that manages them. I cannot fault them at all.

The owner and managers of this place need to get another job. I snuck in a few weeks ago specifically to get a takeaway coffee and go browse through the other shops in the area. Coffee took a lot longer than I thought it would and I was watching the barista as they made other coffees and what I saw was disappointing. What I tasted matched that disappointment.

Treat your staff better. Give them better products to work with and processes that actually produce good results not the mediocre stuff I saw walking past me. Train them properly on how to use a coffee machine (don't do it yourself pay someone that knows what they are doing)

If that's not possible sell the place to someone that will. Wow covid has seen a lot a changes. Sadly this has happened to what was one of our favourite little cafes near us. Today I got a full breakfast at $26 and was sorely disappointed. The two gals I was dinning with one got the Eggs Benny which used to come on a lovely sourdough toast but instead came on a thin muffin. The Benny sauce should be made from scratch and warm at the price point but it was cold and definitely not fresh. But the saddest was the waffle it wasn't even toasted and pretty much looked and tasted like one you buy at the supermarket wrapped in plastic. I've never raved about the coffee but it has also gone down a notch. Probably explains the reduction in patronage.

I guess it changed management during covid so maybe it'll change hands again and/or improve. Until then I'll be heading into Goldbergs Coffee House. Disappointed. (The photo I shared was definitely from ages ago.)

Made this update 7 months ago and the only major change I've seen in this place is that it has raised its prices considerably. I'm guessing they are getting even less patronage so are trying to claw the last they can out of the people that visit. I just grabbed coffee and didn't drink it and saw the one dish being taken out at the time and realised things haven't changed....

i visit here almost every single sunday, it is one of my favourite places to be, but today i was extremely disappointed.

i order the berry sensation waffles every single time i come here, today i ordered exactly that, but i instead received the blueberry waffles, which has blueberry compote, & i do not enjoy compote one bit, i suffer with sensory issues & that is majorly involved with food. i enjoy the berry sensation as it is mixed berries poached in brandy, & does not have the texture of compote.

this is how the visit went: the older lady who brought our meals to us as she sat the plates down she said “we have the blueberry waffles” etc, but as she was quite busy, i didn’t get the chance to say anything before she had to run off to do other things she needed to. a young girl that works there was walking past so we got her attention & told her what had happened, she took my plate, she then came back 30 seconds later with the plate in her hand & said “im sorry but it says you ordered the berry sensation waffle?” & i said “yes i did, this is the blueberry waffle though, i don’t like blueberry compote, i like the mixed berries poached in brandy” but she unfortunately cut me off & said “sorry but that’s just how it’s made” & walked away, so i had to try & eat something that i did not enjoy whatsoever & ended up just giving the rest of it to my partner because i couldn’t eat keep trying to eat something i didn’t enjoy.

i know for a fact that the berry sensation waffle comes with mixed berries & is not a compote but the girl tried to convince me that i’m wrong even though i order this every single sunday & have for months now, & i know what is on it.

if i had’ve been offered an alternative topping that i enjoy, i would not feel the need to write this review, i would be able to see past the mishap, but unfortunately this was a truly terrible experience due to receiving the wrong thing, having the girl tell me i’m wrong & cut me off & be incredibly rude to me, im not sure this is somewhere i would want to eat at anymore, nor recommend to my friends &...

This place has gone downhill. I wish mediocre was the word but it's just like they stopped caring, and I won't be coming back.

It has been a while since we've visited and I was reminded why as we sat there waiting for our cold coffee's to arrive. I had to send it back and got complaints in return. Watching the wait staff mope, greet poorly or just outright avoid customers was another disappointment.

I had the "big breakfast" for $33 consisting of a single piece of sourdough, two eggs, greasy cheapest bacon, some mushrooms of inconsistent temperature, half a tomato and two very small chipolates (sausage smaller than your thumb)

Speaking of thumbs, when delivering food can your thumbs not be in my food when bringing the plates over?

You have so many staff members but only two or three of them with experience but no one can bring food out on time or with any value or orientation toward customer service.

We left after eating only half our meals and feeling ripped off but mostly just super let down by what used to be a really great place but now I could never recommend to anyone in good faith.

As I walked past customers seated out the front I could hear them talking wondering if their coffee orders had been forgotten.

There are other places in the area that really want your business and it shows. Im gatekeeping them now. If your happy with cups n crepes, by all means keep waiting for your below average food and drinks and service there.

I'll leave my old review below in good faith that one day they'll return to the quality business that they used to be.

We love this place. The food is always consistently excellent and the coffee is just as good. The service is prompt, staff are very friendly and attentive and as long as your pups are well behaved then they are more than happy to accommodate them at an outside table. I highly recommend the big breakfast or a pancake stack. Definitely well worth your time and money. One of the area's...
