Amen! Finally! Somewhere in Newcastle that can properly cook a piece of bacon! A spur of the moment decision led my partner and myself to pull into this establishment this morning for takeaway coffees and some heated delicacies on a cold and windy winters morning. We never expected to have discovered such a ruby in the rough! The smashed av and B&E roll awoken our senses and prepared us for a day of adventure and enlightenment. A gem of a find! Got a few things for take-away this morning (2 x toasties, a breakfast burrito and the mushroom toast) and got to taste them all - not one was a dud…..far from it, great flavours. I also loved the fact that I got the feeling they really appreciated the business which makes you want to go back again…..which we obviously will!

Shame they don’t also do delivery, although probably a good thing for us as we would be tempted to order...

The food, coffee and service is always wonderful! Meals are consistently tasty, service is quick and all the staff are very friendly. I became hooked on their takeaway breakfasts during covid and have kept going back since. Easy to get a car park and the cafe is in a nice location for a walk...
