Islington Park — Attraction in Newcastle-Maitland

Fantastic place to go and have some active fun! Well lit even at night, and proximity to Maitland road means you're never too far away from civilisation. Vision from long distances so you can let the kids free range and not worry too much, as long as they're a bit road sensible. Great park, walked the cycle way through to Hannell street. Looking for a toilet block? No luck had to go to the bp service station. When I came home I googled the park, which apparently behind the soccer amenities, which is not visible from inside the park, is where the toilet block is.In the very least they need to put up clear signage and directions or put another block of toilets in.
