Food is usually great - but main comment I came here to make was about the staff. I have so much empathy for retail/hospo workers as have been one myself and know it can be a tough gig to regulate your emotions if you’ve had a hard day. I was served by a white young lady with short curly brown hair, they were a little busy for a Tuesday night at 5:30pm, although there was only one person in line behind me and the store was empty after I left. I currently have a speech impendament/lisp due to surgery and struggle to interact socially. I was hesitant and having some difficulty. During my order, this girl was rude, impatient, unpleasant and rolled her eyes when i deliberated on a decision of salsa for 2.5 seconds. I apologised profusely and tried to laugh it off but she continued to death stare me. I apologised again and actually said in a lighthearted joking manner “sorry I can see you’re getting frustrated with me, I am trying my best” she ignored me and totally stormed off halfway through the order, leaving the other worker to finish it. Thankfully the other worker was really kind and patient and smiley (apologies I’m wrong about her ethnicity but I believe she was an indian lady). Anyways, hopefully that girl can learn from her coworker about treating others with respect and kindness (regardless of their abilities etc.) Sending some good vibrations and peace her way so she can heal this...
Read moreWell let's just say we felt like a number. There was more staff than customers in the store. Male staff member serving us seemed pushy and want to push us through and let's just say when we got our food it was a let down. He put little as possible of everything on both our meals. We have been to 4 different Mad Mexs and this was definitely not up to standards of the others. Being Mad Mex members and we thought we would try a different one than our regular one this time we were...
