I'm usually not one to complain but I was so turned off by this place I had to make a review. The charcoal chicken on the wrap was extremely bland as well as the chips that were ordered. The ingredients of the wrap were not displayed properly and we were extremely misinformed about the ingredients. Biggest disappointments were the minimal amount of sauce on the wrap as well as both wraps missing another sauce and no cheese offered on the wrap. To top it off I found two rather large bones in my chicken wrap that I nearly choked on eating. Won't ever...

The chicken and food overall is good, however, what separates them from other charcoal chicken places in Newcastle, especially from the one in Mayfield, is that the staff is very friendly and courteous. You get a felling that they care about their customers and want the customers to like their food. Secondly, many similar food shops on Beaumont St. have bad quality, and get away with it, because they know that many party-goers after their party won't care much about the quality. However, this place always makes fresh food, especially the chips...

Really tasty food loses a point on price way to expensive for what you get. Love the chicken and chips for something quick and that I would say is reasonably priced. Only complaint would be I've had the chicken twice and on both halves the breastfeeding was dry and not edible. The rest though had the best tasting chicken I've had in years. Seems like a normal thing for middle eastern restaurants that BBQ chickens they can't work out how to cook chickens so they don't dry out but the toum and spices on the skin sets...
