The only place worth eating at for dinner near here. Food is exceptional- not what you expect from this little place tucked away. The menu apparently changes regularly which is Fantastic - I had the beef fillet which was cooked perfectly and flavours and presentation at the same level. My husband had the Balmain bug spaghetti which was most delicious- I’m usually disappointed with seafood pasta (bits of shell dropped in and grit ) but this was delicious - handmade pasta I believe and cherry tomato sauce/flavour spectacular. Waitress was superb - attentive to us rag muffin looking country bumpkins who can actually have a very fussy palette. You might balk at the price but go nearby and spend nearly the same money on food that is quite terrible- like garlic bread that tastes like panini dipped in beef drippings. My daughter Nyah says this cafe is the best in Belmont and we were impressed with the attendants interaction with our 10yo. Will come here again. Hopefully for breakfast...

My family had Father's Day with my brother and his family and it was fantastic. Denise was extremely attentive and made sure our glasses were always full. We had the seafood platter which is the best we have ever had, the only thing fried was the calamari, we filled up on a whole snapper, fresh prawns, BBQ prawns the size of bananas, baked scallops with a crunchy top, fresh crab and Balmain bugs, fresh oysters and oysters kilpatrick. It was refreshing not to have a giant serve of fried chips so we could enjoy the seafood. Will definitely be booking in for Mother's Day and...

This chef understands flavours, attention to detail and the enjoyment of a good meal. Love this place, meet friends here regularly for brunch. I recommend the German Eggs Benedict, Corn Pancakes, Baked Eggs and Chorizo etc. For lunch the Chicken wrap is a tasty and filling meal. In summer, I love the Crispy Soft Shell Crab Salad (available all year) also had the Prawn Pizza. And the pastry chef makes a mean Portuguese Tart with a crunchy crème brûlée top.
