What a great location for a cruisy breakfast. The position is second to none on a sunny day, right on the waterfront, with parkland around. Order at the register, then either take away or table service. I had the big brekky, which had a generous serving of eggs, toast, mushrooms, pan fried tomatoes, bacon (I swapped the chipolatas for more bacon), and a hash brown. All was cooked perfectly, and served quickly. They have a great selection of Coffee and Teas, and the Latte was great. What a great venue. Excellent food, excellent service and great value. I seriously liked this place and will be going back. There were three in our party. Our coffees were very good and we all had very different dishes and we all thought the food was extremely well prepared and tasted excellent. I ordered a big breakfast and I was so pleased the bacon was not cooked to death. Nice place and my husband liked his coffee, but as a tea drinker I was very disappointed to receive a teapot with a very ordinary teabag! Tea drinkers are people too and we deserve just as much time and effort put into the preparation of our beverage as coffee drinkers do. I have been to a large number of cafes around the Newcastle, Lake Mac and Hunter area, always ordering tea, and this is the first time in a few years that I have received a teabag.
