This restaurant was the first place and highly recommended by different Hong Kongers (surprisingly they don’t know each other) that I asked for suggestion of where to celebrate with a nice Chinese seafood meal. I was really looking forward to it.
First I was turned off by the crude interior. Second, I was disgusted by the only waitress there with poor customer service. Not only without smile, but she seemed very annoyed when answering questions about the menu.
As you can see from the photos, the noodles was so tasteless like the chef forgot to put any salt. And it was very watery that they didn’t drain the noodles properly after boiling.
The scallops with mixed vegetables were a joke. The scallops were so small that buried under the veggies and less than 10 pieces. It’s also tasteless.
The duck with yam was so dried like it was sitting in the fridge for several days and got deep fried again. The sauce was very tasteless too like it is watered down 10 times that we couldn’t tell what flavour at all!
The xo sauce stir fired squids with snow peas was the normal one. However, I wondered why they add celery to the dish and only very few pieces of snow peas. But it is written only snow peas and squids. So there are other different veggies options with squids but we chose snow peas. The ratio of the veggies is like more celery than snow peas. So they should change it to celery stir fry squids instead of snow peas! Liar!
They use canned sliced mushrooms in all the dishes. This is very low quality like what you will have from food court. But we were recommended for high quality food from this restaurant.
If you were the owner of this place, can you imagine how disappointed I feel especially when I am a Chinese? And to come all the way for celebrating birthday?
If, only if the people didn’t lie to me about the good quality of this restaurant. I guess it is the problem of the chef they hired to work for lunch time. It was very quiet so I guess they only hire the experienced chef for night shifts. And whoever works in the kitchen for the afternoon shift, you, you turned us off and we will never ever come back to this place coz the food you made was so disgusting and brought shame on this restaurant! Oh yes if your chef doesn’t speak English, please translate that how terrible job your staff has done. And as the owner you should be humiliated because you could hire someone better for the lunch hour shift! Shame on you all to have the high reputation from...

We ordered a big range and all the food was the perfect balance of salt, flavour and sauce. The favourites here was the duck and taking us by surprise, the sweet corn fish!
Service was on point, the staff had a fun and light attitude and was easy to get along. They even helped us choose the number of dishes for a large group and ensure we had a variety of meats and seafood.
Although we were seated near the kitchen - ventilation was great. Plenty of fans situated around the table which wasn’t loud and provided a great atmosphere to dine in!
A must try if you’re looking for some delicious...

I've been here several times and the food is humble yet flavours are delicious and hit the spot, and this is backed up by the type of customers they regularly bring in.
The location avails itself of plenty of nearby street parking, and there's indoor dining and takeaway options available. Service isn't going to win any awards but...
