I recently visited a fantastic restaurant and had a great experience, thanks to the wonderful manager there! From start to finish, everything was simply perfect.

Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant was great, with comfortable seating and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer was looked after.

However, it was the manager who really stood out. They were incredibly personable and made sure that every guest felt valued and appreciated. They also took the time to check in with us throughout the meal, making sure everything was to our liking.

Now, onto the food - let's just say that it was some of the best I've ever tasted! The menu had a great range of options, from classic dishes to more modern, unique offerings. Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was fantastic, and it was all thanks to the wonderful manager who made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

My partner Alec and I are on holidays in Darwin. living near the gold coast we are spoilt for choice. We used to live in Darwin for years and are real foodies... However we have dined at many restaurants across all the different cuisines up here and we are wishing kalidonis taverna was around back then as it simply mouth watering, by far the freshest tasting food in the terry, An affordable price to pay for such generous serving sizes! Highly rate the ortikia (Chargrilled Quails), the garidomakaronada (prawns tossed in pasta with rich tomato sauce) and the fish of the day (which was yummy coral trout, bearing in mind the fish has bones in, which didn't bother me at all) We are staying right next door at the Kalidonis Hotel in a poolside room and it is awesome, it ticks all the boxes for a very affordable price, especially seeings its dry season.. Staff at both the hotel and restaurant are lovely.. 10/10 food and accomodation experience, thanks heaps Kalidonis.. Love Mum and Dad...

We visited this restaurant after hearing great reviews, and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was great, with comfortable seating and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we were well taken care of.

We started with crab and corn soup and steamed oysters with ginger and shallot. The crab and corn soup was more of a chicken corn soup with very few pieces of crab meat. However, the oysters were delicious, and they were some of the best I've ever had.

For mains, we ordered steamed barramundi with vegetables and small seafood fried rice. The barramundi was cooked perfectly and the serving size was generous. It tasted great with the garlic sauce. The fried rice was decent, but it was not as good as the barramundi.

The staff were lovely and warm, and they were always willing to help us. The price was a bit higher than other Asian restaurants, but it was worth it for the quality of the food and...

The best meal in Darwin! After spending a week having average meals, we finally found an amazing feed at Loong Fong. We shared hand made dim sums steamed, prawn toast, satay sticks, Mongolian beef, Szechuan chicken and pork and black bean. All were a taste bud sensation yet the Mongolian beef was a stand out along with the chefs satay sauce. I was traveling with a qualified chef and food reviewer, and both gave the chef their thanks. Even if you are a local, this place is worth a trip to the airport to experience. Along the pool at the Novotel.

A new Greek restaurant in Darwin close to the city but not on a main street. We went on a Saturday night and lucky that we booked as the place was packed, food was good, very big serves and didn't wait long. The price was unreal, most entrees were about $7 and most mains were $17 amazing, with a few beers we were paying about $45 per person :) They have Pizza on the menu which is a bit strange, but might be to cater to kids or the unadventurous. Will be going back.
