I recently had the pleasure of visiting this quaint establishment nestled in the heart of Darwin. Though our visit was primarily inclined towards satiating our sweet tooth, the allure of their extensive dessert menu did not disappoint. The variety is commendable, with a range of delightful treats that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. While the price point is slightly on the higher side, it's expected in Darwin.
Aside from the sweet offerings, the place boasts a menu of Italian savories including pizzas and pastas, which we didn't venture into during our visit. However, it’s nice to know the option is there for those looking to enjoy a hearty meal. Our experience was centered around a cozy afternoon, indulging in cakes and coffee which were both satisfying. The ambiance is pleasant, making it a nice spot for a casual meet-up or a relaxed afternoon.
I would certainly suggest this place to others, especially if you have a penchant for desserts. The blend of a comforting atmosphere with a sprinkle of Italian culinary essence makes it a delightful place to spend a...

Read moreMy boyfriend and I recently went on a lunch date here on a Sunday, the whole Smith St Mall was a ghost town so we walked until we found a cafe and found this one. Well I am soooo glad we ended up here!! We ordered a chai latte, an iced mocha, bruchetta and the ribs & chicken wings combo plate that comes with hot chips too. We also got 2 caramal/banana/walnut tarts to take home. ALL of it was DELICIOUS. The cafe inside was peaceful, the drinks and food were so well made, and the staff were very friendly. The chef himself came out to tell us about his Canadian home recipe for the ribs, buffalo chicken wings and the sauce. We had a great conversation, he was a very friendly chef! The whole experience just absolutely made our day, our lunch date, and our weekend! Thank you Salavatores Cafe we WILL be back to try more of your menu, which by the way had an amazing array of choices. Can't wait...
